“Not so bad afterall...”

I've read so many horrible reviews about this place and I must say I'm glad I went and saw for myself. Sure the hotel is not across the Columbia Mall, but really a 5 minute drive away is not bad. It's right across from a Perkins restaurant and a gas station and right off the Interstate. The beds were a little firm but not terrible. After shopping all day I can pretty much sleep anywhere. For a hotel of this price to be clean, have a pool (sure it was a little cold but have we all not been in a lake?), cable tv, pleasant hotel staff, and accessible parking all for about half the price of what you'd pay elsewhere, I WILL be definitely staying here from now on whenever I need to spend the night in Grand Forks. If you're intention is to go down to shop for the weekend then to save a few bucks I would stay here.

“More than what I expected”

The first time we went, I was worried because I had seen bad reviews. But when we pulled up it looked very well maintained and modern. As soon as we walked into the lobby, it felt very clean. I was happy with the rooms and I felt comfortable. That is important to me because I don't like sleeping in other beds except my own. Most of the staff were young, but that was not a problem at all. They were friendly and polite at all times. I'm a student on a limited budget and this was affordable stay for me. That is why I went back a second time.

Front desk was very helpful. The girls at the front desk remembered when I said my flight was the next mornin' and when another customer called to tell them that her flight was cancelled, they remembered me sayin' the flight I was on, which was the same one. They called me in my room to inform me of this. I was already sleepin' but if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have known until mornin'. This way, I was able to rearrange my flights, my hotels, and my rental car all that night. The bookin' was very easy, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast is A++. The staff is friendly, and it's nice and close to the airport. I would recommend this hotel to anyone headin' to Grand Forks. I will for sure stay there again!

“Will Return”

I found this hotel to be really great and I am not sure what all those other travelers who do not recommend it are talking about. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was great! we didn't use the pool but it looked nice. it is located in a easily accessible location off the I-29 and it's super easy to get to shopping. All in all, I would recommend this hotel and stay there again!

“A big "wow" for the money!”

We stayed two nights, and the rate I paid was $20.00 less than what I was quoted - what a nice surprise!! Everything about the hotel was awesome, especially for the money. My only disappointment was there was no hot tub in the pool area. Great breakfast!!

We were very happy with our stay at Settle Inn Grand Forks - we were looking for an affordably priced gettaway, with a continental breakfast and a pool. We stayed 3 nights. The staff were very accomadating. Upon arrival our Expedia documentation was there and sign-in was breeze. The room on the second floor was quiet(we were on the Northeast side of the building away from the major routes). A Perkins restuarant is accessible within same corner block and a gas station convenience store is located across the road. The I29 is 2 minutes from the Inn. While the room had an older model TV, 20 free channels were available which more than met our needs. We did not use the pool but it looked well maintained. As the weather was nice each of the days we spent some time walking and enjoying both the sights and our time together. The continental breakfast is open until 10:00AM each morning. It was well stocked each day, and restocked as items were used. As the breakfast room was small, there could be a wait for those on a specific schedule. For those getting up later, there was no waiting and additional seating space is available adjacent to the food area. While not listed on the website as an ammenity to expect, we were happy to learn that a well working mini fridge was in the room.
