Pool makes it worth it

Posted 1-Jul-2015
Half of the staff was unhelpful and unwilling to help. The rooms are older and the hotel is mostly clean. The pool area makes the stay worth it! The first room we had was a dump but the next morning we moved to a nicer room. Beds were really comfortable. Not sure why it's a 3 star hotel except maybe the pool.

Low cost, not so clean.

Posted 17-Jun-2015
Pros: Price, hot tub
Cons: Cleanliness.
Pool area was very dirty, lots of lint, wet paper, wads of stuff around pool. Not sure what brown pile by hot tub was. Employee sitting in pool area entire time we were in hot tub, should have been cleaning. Broken vent pipes in ceiling. Hair left by sink. Drapes did not cover poolside window completely, no privacy. Bed was comfortable.

Poor Choice

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: The breakfast was pleasant; a standard continental with the addition of freshly made waffles....this area was clean!
Cons: Proper ventilation, staff that is properly trained and compensated, carpet is dirty; beds SHOULD NOT be assembled next to an occupied room at 9 PM
Location: Shopping, Northern Air Trampoline, parks, university; close to highway exit !
We had to move to three different rooms within 5 hours....the noise level, poor ventilation and beds being assembled at 9:00 PM. The hotel smells musty, and dirty; the rooms and furnishings are outdated... Guests freely walk the hallway drinking beer, pool is open to the public for a nominal fee. The restaurant had 3 booths available for sitting, all the tables had chairs stacked on them. The lounge is hot and musty....probably why the pool area (though separated by a waist high clear fence) was the "lounge". Garbage and a profane note was in the first room after it had been cleaned and empty water bottles behind the night table of the second....by the third room we were to frustrated and exhausted to move again. Food service was poor; a burger and fries turned into a cheeseburger and onion rings.....it was a take out order and the restaurant and lounge were empty of any other "guests" ca!

Quiet but shabby

Posted 27-May-2015
Pros: The room was quiet. Pool area looked like fun for those with children.
Cons: Make sure public bathroom areas are cleaned each night. Make sure the rooms have soap and adequate towels.
The hotel seems run down in areas. Room was stale and smoky. No soap in the bathroom on first night. Cleaning solution left in the bathroom second day. Only one towel in the bathroom. Bathrooms near breakfast area needed cleaning. Breakfast was decent.

Pros: The hot tub was great and so was the breakfast.
Cons: air conditioners
Location: booked this hotel because of a graduation and it worked out fine.
Everything was great except for the hotel room being painted orange and my air conditioner was not working properly so it was real noisy.

Looks better on the inside than outside.

More of a motel than hotel. Bathrooms and exterior needs renovating. Front desk gave us wrong time and missed continental breakfast.

Ok stay

Posted 19-May-2015
Pros: The price was very reasonable
Cons: Basic updated maintenance in rooms.
Location: Location was very good.
If you are someone who is very fussy about room cleanliness, I would not recommend staying. Our room was on the lower level, outside room and it has moisture damage around the outside door and almost looked like black mold on the ceiling. Bathroom was satisfactorily clean. Pool area was very nice. Continental breakfast was very good also. Check-in area was very clean, nice and welcoming.
