“Pleasant Surprise”
Trying to stay on a budget while visiting the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, we found the Best Western Squire Inn and were expecting a hotel with little to speak of. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the overall condition of this hotel. The Hotel looked quite new and even in the winter, the grounds were well kept. This hotel has everything that the larger resorts have including restaurant, two bars, bowling alley and game center, business center, pool, workout room as well as a spa. The "Continental Breakfast" turned out to be a full buffet! The room was clean and had more than the expected amenities that you would expect in a higher end hotel. We would most certainly recommend this hotel.
“Great place for the price”
We were quite amazed by the size and the amenities offered by this hotel. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was great and there was lots of seating. The hotel offered several activities onsite, including bowling and an arcade room. There was also a nice sports bar. The only problem we encountered was the ventilation in the bathroom. The fan ran quite loudly, but accomplished nothing. By the time the 4th person took a shower, there were water droplets on the ceiling that fell on him as he tried to dry himself. The mirror was still steamed over when we got back from breakfast. Other than that a great place, for a good price.
“Great!”
As far as motels go it doesn't get much better than this. Room was great, staff were great, breakfast was amazing, spa and gym handy, location great. It's spread out over several buildings so you might have a bit of a maze to navigate to get to say the breakfast room or the bowling alley (yes it's got it's own bowling alley, about $4 per round per person). Nice little bars and games rooms around. 10 minutes drive to the south rim, and about 45 mins from Flagstaff or Williams.
“A GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
This is a very nice place to stay. enjoy the stay there very much, There is something to do for everyone in your family
“EXCELLENT ! !”
This hotel has more amenities than hotels which rent for 3 times the nightly rate. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. The location is excellent for access to the Grand Canyon National Park. This hotel has a great restaurant on the premises as well as a comfortable lounge with a fire place. All of the employees had a geat attitude and were very helpful. This hotel will cater to families with children as it has an arcade and an in house bowling alley( 6 lanes) !!
“Highly Recommend This Hotel”
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The bowling alley is a great amenity. We were very disappointed there was no pool to swim in while we were there.
“We will be back!”
When visiting the Grand Canyon, stay HERE. Everything was clean, comfortable and well-worth the value. We enjoyed having dinner at the Coronado Room, took in a couple of games of bowling, and ate a fresh, delicious and plentiful hot and cold breakfast buffet. We definitely will stay here again, and will recommend it to our friends as well.
“Great rooms at the Grand Canyon”
An excellent hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfast an WiFi right near the Grand Canyon Village. On site games and bowling alley a plus if you get to use them. ( We were tired from driving and sight seeing).
“Great Motel! Wish I would have stayed longer!”
The hotel room was beautiful and much larger than expected. Very clean. Nice staff.
“Probably the nicest best western I have stayed in”
The hotel was quite nice, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was very good as well. The internet connection on the lobby's computer was the worst I have experienced in my entire life, taking up to 10 minutes to load a page. The location is excellent, especially if you want to do as we did - get up and see sunrise at the canyon, then go back to the hotel for breakfast before heading out for the rest of the day. The rate was quite good, though I would recommend calling the hotel also because they can authorize a wide range of discounts.
