“The Best!”

Hotel Alixares is right across the road from AlHambre. The service was friendly, the buffets--especially breakfast--delicious and economical, the swimming pool was a hot weather refuge. All around it was great.

“Super”

Personnel multilingue à l'accueil. Situé juste en face du Généralif. Grande et belle chambre avec terrasse et baignoire jacuzzi. Vue sur l'Alhambra. Restaurant de grillades en terrasse. Les horaires de la piscine sont un peu restreints, notemment l'ouverture tardive. La côte pour revenir du centre-ville est raide, mais le service de minibus très efficace.

“Great location to see the Alhambra and Generalife”

Hotel is right across from one of the entrances to the Alhambra, very convenient. It is quite a hilly walk to the downtown area of Granada, but taxis are always near by. Room was comfortable with a great view of the mountains. Seemed to be populated by bus tours, so dinner time was pretty busy in the dining room.

“Hotel magnifiquement placé et très calme”

Hotel situé en face de l' Alhambra si vous demandez une chambre qui donne sur celui ci. Autrement possibilité d'une chambre sur l'arrière avec vue sur la piscine de l'hotel ainsi que sur la Sierra Nevada. Le personnel est sympathique, compétent et répond à vos questions. Certains d'entre eux parlent français. Hotel très propre et calme.

“Excellent location for Alhambra”

Superb hotel,great bar area and fantastic pool. Opposite entrance for Alhambra and about 15 minute walk into town.Taxi ride back if you dont fancy the uphill walk back costs about 5 Euros. Granada is a great destination for short breaks and this is one of the few hotels with a pool in the city.

“Very nice stay would stay there again”

The hotel was in a great location for the alhambra. Staff was great and spoke english. Just need clocks in the rooms.

“Great location and views - right near Palace”

Great location outside the gates of Alhambra. Even so area was fairly quite. Easy bus to city (I think 30 or 32) and to views overlooking palace - a must to see. There is a hotel at the bottom of the hill you can go to for a drink that overlooks the entire city.

“Would definitely stay again!”

Granada is lovely, and this hotel is really really close to the Alhumbra and a lovely walk downhill to the town centre. I booked a twin room and got a very spacious room with two single beds. Plenty of room to swing a cat or two, although close to the lifts, so slightly noisy when revellers returned back late at night, but if that doesn't bother you, then no real worries! Spacious bathroom as well. Front desk staff were delightful and very very helpful. At an additional cost, the buffet breakfast was pretty good - many options to choose from. Lovely big pool also to cool off after a big day of walking. A lovely hotel in a great spot.

“Couldn't be closer to the Alhambra”

Great hotel for visiting the Alhambra, staff really friendly and helpful. Great open air barbeque on the roof in the evenings. Pool does not open until 11am which is a bit annoying if you're only there for a weekend.
