Gorgeous facade and friendly check in but the room was poor. Hair found in the cups and dirty towels left in room from previous stay.

Understand it was at the lower end of the market, would expect a bit of wear and tear, but it was just really dirty and dusty. The cleanliness of the carpets was pretty bad.

Worst place I have ever stayed. Mould everywhere in the bathroom, it smells like its been locked up for months, bedding was stained, the noise from upstairs kept us awake all night. Would have preferred to sleep in a bus stop. Will never go back there. The place should be condemned until properly cleaned

Dirty, terrible smell in the room and mould in the shower and on the shower curtain. The whole room needed a good clean including the curtains which were closed with pegs. After driving for 20 hours and getting in late we were gone by 5am next day due to smell.

We booked a budget room, we only needed a bed for the night to break the driving - room served its purpose. Some confusion re the booking even after talking to staff the day before and arranging a late check-in but it worked out in the end.

DIY disaster
The staff are straight up lazy. They don't do your room or refresh anything unless you call them. The bed was decades old and the springs hurt bad. The TV would lose signal randomly and the staff who did the rooms needed translator apps as they didn't speak English. I only know this cause one of them entered my room halfway through my stay saying I was to check out. If I wasn't in my room, I can only wonder whether my stuff would of been thrown out or stolen. And, there was food left in the fridge from previous person and the kitchenette utensils had dried food on them. I went and bought my own plate and cutlery.

Basic facilities as you would expect from the price, no complaints there, it's exactly as expected and as seen on the website. My only complaint was how thin the walls are, I am certain there is no insulation between neighbouring rooms and upper floors, every sound travelled. The bed was comfy enough but I checked out a day early and slept in my car instead so I could get a better night's sleep

This motel is situated across the street from the railway station, which was it's main attraction for me. There are local pubs and clubs in easy walking distance which serve good meals. The building has seen better days , but considering the price , I found it to be satisfactory. The only drawback is that there is no lift and it is on three levels.

Have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times before and was always good value for the price. This time the room needed a better clean, the bed needs replacing, but worse was the noise from people talking loudly in the courtyard and banging doors till late at night. Then the early leavers woke me again at 6:30 am. Apart from that had to climb 6 sets of stairs with walking problems. That was my fault for not advising the hotel ahead perhaps. But the manager said not else was available but no other vehicles there when I arrived, surely could have changed

My first impression wasn't great - the room looked very small - but it turned out to be a great stay. I had the best night's sleep I'd had in weeks and the location of the hotel was very handy to the main street, with multiple options for dinner and breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
