I booked a king bed and received a double bed. The reception did not bother to look for another room, just said no guarantee even the site states king bed. The actual building and the room is outdated. Very small combined toilet and bathroom. A lot of dining options next to the hotel.

Fantastic location, shops and so many places to eat downstairs, 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach and park. The apartments are large and have everything you want for a comfortable holiday. They are a little dated but wouldn’t stop me from staying again. Only negative was the kitchen needed a good clean.

I was a bit disappointed, the apartment it self was a bit run down the walls needed painting etc. The picture that we so was when they were new apartments. Not great when you send extra money to get good accommodation. The pool and gym was good and walking distance to most places can't fault that.

We were greeted by lovely Ana who was very helpful and kind. The facilities are great and we had a nice apartment overlooking the Broadbeach shops. I recommend this resort to everyone.

No gaming arcade on site - pool was ok but really expected the pool to be bigger (outdoor) due to number of rooms.Kiddie pool wasn't utilised with those with younger children - which restricted the older kids enjoying the main pool - were unable to really splash around amd play pool games.Room advertised as q king bed on one room and two twin beds in another...there were two single beds only - had to pay $$$ for extra bedding. Advised hotel staff who were not interested in that detail and advised it was a mistake in the description. Overall location of hotel amazing and staff were great.No actual food or drink facilities on site.

Indoor and outdoor pools!
The staff were really friendly and accomodating. Indoor heated pool and outdoor pools so doesn’t matter what the weather is if you want a swim! Great location, many nearby restaurants.

The rooms were excellent. Clean and well serviced. The hotel is right in the heart of Broadbeach with a multitude of restaurants. staff were helpful and pool area very good.

Don’t trust the photos!!!!!! The room we arrived to for our romantic anniversary weekend after a 9 hour drive was NOT the room we booked and paid for. This is a bait and switch operation and I never leave bad reviews- but it was that bad. The room we booked looked clean, modern and updated, the room we arrived to was old, dirty, every surface was sticky, the shower was old and mouldy and the towels all stained. We asked for a refund as this wasn’t the room we booked and the poor desk lady looked as though she had heard this a hundred times before and said management was unlikely to refund our money or do anything. We cut our losses and RAN.

The room we got was not even close to what has been advertised for the one bedroom apartment. The furntiure was old as. The kind of suede couches thqt give off an icky feeling. The view was average. The bed was old and uncomfortable. Top half of bed was not leveled to bottom half thats how old. The apartment was not very clean upon entry with the dishes being dirty and the bathroom basin and having i guess beard hair in it? Sheets also had a hair strand or two on them. Would not go back. The apartment is nothing like the photos advertised. The elevator walls are also corroding and peeling. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Upon conversation with another family in the resort they had the exact same experience.

Phoenician Resort is located in Broadbeach and is close to the tram station as well as plenty of restaurants. The staff were lovely and it was great to have car parking including with your room. The cleanliness however was poor, piles of dust and dirt and even food under furniture.

An older building, but kept very clean and renovated bathroom. Lady who checked me in was really lovely and helpful with making sure i understood instructions for parking etc. Nice enough view overlooking the pool area (i was north building, mountain side). Linen was clean. A little cupboard full of some stuff for kids (sand bucket and puzzles), and access to foxtel. The G link tram was across the road.

Rooms were clean and great size for a family. Great location for dinning and transportation. Sadly property wasn't quite what the pictures were eg the outdoor pool was quite small and people smoking and drinking alcohol outside and in the spa indoors made it a little uncomfortable to be around so we didn't swim.

Great location to beach and shops walking distance to everything including tram, pacific fair, supermarkets and cafes and restaurants. The apartment was clean but dated and had a strange smell which the receptionist said is about drainage and always happens, they did came a flush the drains which resolved the small for a short time.

The first room was extremely dirty and alot of things were broken including the bed. We moved to another room which was newer and a little cleaner. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the lounge was no better. Stayed 7 days and had no service of room. I had to buy my own cleaning products and washing up liquid. If i had of known i had gone on hoilday to have to wash my own towels and make my own bed and clean the room to have some standarded of cleaneiness i would not have stayed here. The only good thing was Diane from reception.

The hotel was in a great location close to tram station, shops, restaurants and beach. The only issue we had with our stay was parking. It states parking is included onsite but very few were actually available for hotel guests (reserved for long term tenants at property).

Have stayed here many times. I love this beautiful resort. It’s nice and quiet and in a fantastic location. Only negative is that the parking can be tricky to navigate if you turn into the wrong park, even though it says guest resort parking. One of the days we accidentally parked in a no parking spot and the resident who’s park it was, vandalised our car with lipstick. Reception were very kind about it considering the resident has done this before. So just keep your eyes out for those signs. When reversing, I couldn’t see the no parking sign in the camera or window. I moved the car as soon as I was notified it was in the wrong spot but it was too late for that resident. The resort staff are very hospitable though.
