“Comfortable, central and helpful staff”
Although we arrived 2 hours before check in the staff were most helpful in storing our luggage and promising to make our room a priority. After some exploring we returned to find our luggage delivered to our room on the 18th floor and were impressed with the ocean and city views. The hotel is walking distance to everything, although if you wanted to get to the main beach everyday, a good back pack and walking shoes would be in order. We only tried one of the onsite restaurants,' Waves', it was a nice buffet without been great. Dont like paying for parking when I stay at a hotel, but this is starting to become the norm. Overall a very nice place, not 5 star but a very passable 4.5
“Best Surfers Hotel I have ever stayed at - would definitely go back.”
From the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out the Hotel staff were very accommodating. The room lived up to all expectations - the Hotel even offered a choice of 9 varieties of pillows if you wanted to test drive them! The pools and spas were always kepts clean. Definitely a hotel I would go back to if I were after a Hotel room in Surfers.
“Very comfortable stay”
Having somewhere nice, clean, quiet and comfortable to stay after a long days work as a sales rep is of very high importance to me, Club Watermark met all my expectations and provided me with everything I was looking for. The staff were very hospitable and even extended the use of one of their umbrellas, as it was a rainy day. I only wish I had more down time to take advantage of their on site spa treatments.
“Fantastic deal”
We booked to stay at the Club Watermark after seeing a reduced rate on Expedia's website. We were very impressed with the hotel. The breakfast, the location and the cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic. The hotel was only let down by two things. One, the concergie staff couldn't have looked more bored if they tried. Secondly, the 'daily snacks' that were available throughout the day for Club Watermark guests consisted of tiny biscuits, not really a proper snack that we expected. Other than that though, a fantastic hotel and a great holiday!
“Value for money”
Club Watermark is in a good location. It is not on the beach but just a short walk away. I requested an ocean view as high up as possible and this was provided. Their ocean views have been restricted by the QI building but the ocean is still visible on either side of it. Club Watermark rooms are floors 14 to 20. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
“Would return”
I booked this hotel after a review in the Sunday Mail. Completely satisfied. Parking below hotel with very reasonable daily rate. If I had to pay the advertised rate for the breakfast buffet I would rate it below average, how ever as a hotel guest I was offered a discounted rate. I would stay again
“nice view from our room but not really 5 star !!”
We arrived at the hotel a little early for check in but the girl that checked us in said she would ring when the room became avaliable of course she did not, we headed back ourselves and got into the room which had become avaliable !! The room was on the 14th floor great view of the sea, the room its self was a little battered but clean. The service in the hotel was okay but i did find the reception staff a little rude more so the mananger that was on shift when we checked out it seemed it was a bother for her! but apart from that we had a great holiday and i think i would go back to the watermark again if i was staying in surfers.
