The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the pool and being close to the beach. We had a hire car and great In between location for all the sights and activities. Apartment was very clean.

My stay at BreakFree Acapulco was amazing. The property and the suites, surrounding areas were impeccable. The size of the unit the wrap around balcony with ocean view was incredible. I will definitely recommend this property to my family and friends..

Fabulous location, beautiful views.
We stayed in a two bedroom appt on the 13th floor (about half way up), and were stunned by the most wonderful view over the beach and straight out across the ocean. We got to watch the moon rise each night, and the sun rise each morning. The kids had such a great time with the offerings of both the inside and outside pools, and their respective spas, plus a tennis court and a gym. That's when they weren't just walking across the road to the well patrolled beach! This is a great property in a fantastic position, with a grocery store at the end of the road and the tram stop just a couple of minutes walk away. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I give it 5 stars!

Our room was very spacious but older style. It was comfortable and included aircon in the living area. There is parking in the garage however there is not enough spaces for units, so it's a first-come basis.

Fantastic stay n location.
It was amazing! Beach was just a min walk. Farmer's market and cavil avenue was jus a 10min walk or 5min in tram. Tram jus outside property on the left. Love it! My 1 bedroom oven view apartment was huge. N yes view was fantastic in all rooms n balcony. Minus point was no Aircon but who cares when u have cool sea breeze at night!

WiFi pricing was ridicules, almost from last decade. Air con was rusted and hardly working. People there were nice and polite. The indoor pool is ok for kids. Noisy building and found it hard to get a sleep without disturbance.

It was very clean but the lounge was in very poor condition. It was leather and was peeling everywhere and going all over your clothes and floor .

The property is fine and location is good, BUT the disappointing part was the NOISE level at night from adjoining 0pm I couldn’t sleep, interrupted by constant moving of furniture from a unit ( I assume above ) furniture dragging or scrapping on concrete or whatever floor covering. The worst I’ve experienced. So much so that I did not stay the second night. I did not want to have to tolerate that again. I mentioned it to the reception but !!!. Very POOR

Late check in easy, staff very helpful and always friendly. The apartment was a getting a bit tired and ready for updating but it was a good size, clean and had a full kitchen and a good size balcony. The pool and gardens are lovely and there is a tennis court. The complex is directly opposite the beach and surf club. Would stay again.

Highly recommend staying here esp. if you have a family and we hope to stay here again next time. Apartment is across from the beach and a short stroll to the tram stop and walking to cavil isnt too far too.

its just ok, the price is alright
the apartment was overall good. the bed was comfortable but the room with the two singles had a very thin sheet for a blanket so the kids were cold there. the building is a bit old and there are a few scratches here and there. the security is good.

Fantastic location
Love the location, beach and surf club just cross the road. The staffs is very nice.. only bad things Only 6 clothing hangers for a two bedrooms apt, 4 person stay for 5 nights.. even we did request more hangers.. but the end they just can find two more.. we give up and buy 12 from the shop!

Overall had great time !! I really think main bedrooms should have air conditioners it gets very hot !! Even though windows open it’s still very hot and stuffy in bedrooms 😘😘 I also think the lounge could be more comfortable!! Otherwise apartment was great location so easy to get to beach , transport and shops 😘👍👍❤️❤️❤️

Nice hotel next to the beach
The hotel is located facing Broadbeach is was a great plus point. However it was a bit far from Cavill Ave, which was about 2 train station away. Walking would take about 15 - 20 minutes. My family enjoyed the indoor pool, spa and sauna a a lot. Amenities in the room were still in good working condition. Although furnitures were a bit old, cleanliness was still ok.

Nice place shame about the windows Booked and paid for a ocean view got given a hinterland view instead when I ask to be moved this request was refused. Real nice apartment inside but unfortunately all I will remember is that the main windows (non balcony) were absolutely filthy you could not see the view through the dirt and grim on the outside of the windows.

The room was clean but dated. would think twice about the price. Stayed at more modern break frees that have cost less. The bathrooms need a little TLC the laminex board was swollen from being wet too many times. The ensuite shower had a dodgy door. Otherwise the hotel was pleasant.

Family Holiday on the Gold Coast
We spent a wonderful week on the GC staying again at the Breakfree Acapulco. A great two bed, two bath unit this time overlooking the beach. The room was excellent and the service as usual, was professional and helpful. A most enjoyable stay.

Good short break
Great 360 degree view from unit being on the 22nd floor. Had view of the beachfront front of the unit and of the river and mountains at the back of the unit. Comfortable and clean. Had good facilities being indoor and outdoor pool, plus tennis courts. Could easily walk to centre of Surfers along the beach.

The Breakfree Acapulco is a managed apartment. Very spacious and comfortable for our 5 night stay. The apartment is only serviced if the stay is of 7 days duration however this was not an issue. It was a bit surprising that there was only a 'starter' supply of soap etc, but a supermarket was close by. Could use a little bit of updating but acceptable as is. The air con was not working (and looked like it had not worked for some time which was no problem during our visit in May, however may be an issue in summer. Absolutely fantastic location across the road from a surf club (great meals) and the beach. Easy walk into Surfers or to Broadbeach. Would definitely stay there again

Good service great amenities with indoor and outdoor pool and tennis courts, nice garden setting surrounding outdoor pool. Short walk along the beach to centre of Surfers Paradise. Good view of the shoreline though you need to be on 7th floor and above to get a full view. Unit was spacious well set out great kitchen and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Great beach, shops close by, far enough away from the noise of caville avenue, but close enough to walk to enjoy the restaurants and shopping. Have stayed there twice so far with my family. Only suggestion would be that quests be able to access wifi in rooms.

we loved this hotel. staff were very friendly on arrival and departure and very helpful when we needed tickets printed. facilities were amazing we loved the pool. short walk to the beach snd was close enough to everything. we loved our stay here and will definitely be back

i booked a room for 6 days at my annivarsary.there is no one at the reception to attend.the guy acted shocked as he wasnt expecting me.at the end they gave me the room,the fan wasnt working in the room and the light wasnt working in the room ,the lock to ensuite bathroom was broken. After all this happened,when i call at the reception,they said owner of the apartment has been notified but unfortunately its not fixed yet.My question to the hotel is why would you even assign this room to anyone especially my booking was made 3-4 weeks in advance.I am never going back there.

Near the beach, nice quiet location
greeted by friendly receptionist,modern foyer disappointed with covered walkway due to renovations but completed while we were there and all was removed. very spacious accomodation and great views of beach. Pool area was great and surprised to find indoor pool and spa as well. The only fault I found was not having a more modern oven, should have had operating instructions maybe but overall we were very happy with our stay
