Gold Beach Resort offers 49 accommodations with coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Balconies open to ocean views. Televisions come with satellite channels. Guests can make use of the in-room refrigerators and microwaves. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations.

Business-friendly amenities include desks and direct-dial phones with voice mail; free local calls are provided (restrictions may apply). “Would like to go back”
This is a very good resort!
“Great location”
Only issue with this hotel is that is does not have a safe deposit box facility in the room or at the front desk.
“Wonderful!”
This beach hotel is luxurious and offers very large, elegantly appointed rooms. Large decks offer excellent beach and sea view. Good breakfast is in an atrium-type area. Easy access to highway but do not hear or see it.
“Would stay again”
We loved hearing the ocean waves and looking out our door to see the view of the lighthouse and ocean. The only drawback for us was the mattress was entirely too hard for us. We enjoyed sitting in the little glass enclosed breakfast room eating our breakfast and meeting other guests.
“Gold Beach Gem”
We had a lovely time at the hotel. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. The oceanview was fantastic. The office staff was friendly and accomodating. My one disappontment was with the continental breakfast. It was sparce and the quality of the food was poor. However, I would not hesitate visiting the hotel again.
“Extraordinary Service”
We arrived just in time to watch the sunset from the balcony of our room (on second floor). Also, walked to beach for a even better view. We received a warm reception from front desk including where pool, gym, breakfast room and our room were located along with where to park. Room was spacious and comfortable. Receptionist called upon owner when I could not get TV to work. He came to room immediately, smiled and explained in a very pleasant manner that I had to flip power switch by front door. Great service!
“Gold Beach Way easy”
The folks at the desk & staff were personable, friendly and informative when asked about the area. The accommodations were excellent with easy steps to the beach. Room was clean and well maintained, nice balcony and view. Beds were firm just how I like it. Didn't use the indoor pool or gym but should have. Just there to check out the area real estate. Maybe next time take more advantage of the amenities. Right down the street from an excellent restaurant and all other necessary services. Bottom line, I've stayed in a "lot" of Hotels from High end to Low end. I like stays like that that are Clean, calm, relaxed, Unremarkable with no drama to contend with. Next time I go to Gold Beach I'll be staying at Gold Beach Resort to be sure.
“very nice”
My only thing is that we had somkers next to us and below us . As we could not open our slider to the deck it was a non somking hotel. I told the hotel manger and they took care of it right of way.
“A place everyone should experience over and over!”
This hotel resort was truly a gem! Everything was so well done from the moment I was greeted until checkout time. The atmosphere was wonderful; I felt as if I were enveloped in a simple elegance without the pretentious air so many resorts have. What a treat it was to walk into the charming, airy room where the heat was on so it was the most perfect tempurature. Not to mention the ocean view & sounds which I viewed both from the deck & the bed. Did I mention the sunset was glorious from the short trail to the beach & from the deck. It was a quiet, peaceful, & restful time and I realized how perfect it would be as a romantic getaway, but it was truly a wonderful place to prepare for a business meeting the next day. The little breakfast room provided a place to enjoy a morning meal, a pleasant surprise addition to many of the specialties offered at the Gold Beach Resort. The list of things, small and large, that impressed me are too numerous to list~from landscaping to fluffy towels, from the friendly, engaging service to the ample mirrored storage I have to say I haven't had a better experience, even in the finest hotels out there.
“Comfortable, clean, with easy access to the beach”
A great place to just relax and enjoy the Southern Oregon coast. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for local dining and activities. Gold Beach is pretty limited in restaurants, especially in the off-season, so the recommendations were appreciated. We did not take advantage of their breakfast offering, but it was available in the sun room off of the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable and very large and spacious when compared with other properties in Gold Beach. The free internet access was a nice bonus as well. The beach is immediately accessible from the main building, which is something some of the other hotels nearby are not able to offer. We will return to this location when we are in the area again.
