“Excellent hotel decor. Excellent service and food.”

Very pleased to have stayed at this hotel. Never been to Goa before. So we were a little apprehensive about our selection of the hotel. We selected this hotel on the basis of this hotel being part of Taj Group. Our faith in Taj was totally justified.

“Luxury in Panaji”

As a woman on my own, travelling in Goa for the first time, safety was my first priority. Also the option to chill in somewhere were there was space and facilities like the gym, spa and pool was important. The hotel fulfilled these requirements. The food at Latitude restaurant within the hotel was superb with a good variety. The friendly staff made my visit very warm and welcoming. I felt looked after and hope to go back again.

“Great hotel. Nice and relaxing, but not very close to beaches”

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Great service and very comfortable rooms. Location was right in the middle of the town, so you can go find restaurants and stores. The rooftop pool is beautiful and relaxing, although a bit small. If you're looking for beaches to hang out and party at, they're not around here. Calangute beach is about 20-30 minutes drive away.

“Awesome value for 5 stars”

I am an American citizen living in Bangalore. My first trip to Goa was in May and I stayed at a beach resort in South Goa. For this trip, I chose to stay in Panaji. The hotel is walking distance to the Mandovi boat cruise and to Miramar beach, all along the main road, quite far but offers a nice stroll along the river. The hotel is amazing! The concierge and staff were nice but not pushy and provided excellent service. The room is clean and spacious, and the lobby areas are also very comfortable. The restaurant is great value! The food was amazing and quite cheap for a 5-star hotel. We even got a free appetizer our second night! The last resort I stayed charged triple at their restaurant for good not as good. It was threatening rain one day and the hotel gave me an umbrella to use for the day also. The business center is expensive; you can get internet for 20 rupees outside rather than 150 in the hotel. The hotel cars are expensive also and there is no complimentary shuttle to the airport or train station. Overall I would stay here again. Being June, it was off season so we got the room for an awesome rate; same as I would pay for 3 or 4 star in the US.

“Vivanta By Taj Panaji The Best!!”

After a slight hitch checking in. The rest of the stay was excellent. The hotel is only 10 months old so is in great condition. All the staff from the security on the gate to the cleaners in the rooms were very friendly and polite and all showing great attention to detail. Good food at the hotel and not overpriced as one usually finds in a 5 star hotel. Only thing overpriced was intenet access Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Panaji. I have stayed in Panaji, but this hotel is miles ahead of anything I have stayed in previously. Will defintely be back next year if not sooner

The rooms are very good and new with all modern day facilities. They are very clean and comfortable. The location is Ok... main Panaji city.. Baga beach is 15 kms... but the Aguada property is a better location... 5kms from Baga beach. This hotel has one problem... there are no garden or walk areas just the hotel building

“Excellent hotel, not close enough to the beach”

A very nice hotel, ideally could have been closer to the beach. Suggest you go to Goa during their peak season which runs from around Oct to Feb. Outside of this period, the place is very quiet.

“Nice play to stay in Panjim.”

Great place to stay in Panjim. Easily accessible to points of interest. But this is not a resort. It is a first class business hotel. The food in any of their resteraunts is awesome. Do not forget to dine at Tamari and try out some thai and asian cuisine
