“Great Location”
good location in North Goa - reasonable price, pool was nice and a few hundred yards to the beach. Room I had was small but functional.
“Right on the beach!!! Fabolousityyyy!!”
Great Location, right on the beach!! and 2min walk to the Calangute Market Area. I went with my wife and kids and didn't have to go anywhere. Everything is so conveniently located. Baga is about 10 mins away and the Market area is 2mins walk. The pool area is also great. The Food was also pretty satisfactory. We had a great time!!!
“Good traditional place to live in”
I was little sceptical about this hotel before I went there. However my view changed once I reached there. I booked a Suite and my decision was right. It had a spacious bed room, living room and huge balcony. It was pleasure to sit in the balcony with your companion. Food was SUPERB. I am a North Indian with taste of medium spicey. I enjoyed the food most during my stay. Its right on the beach. There is small path towards beach (hardly 1 minute walk from pool). However there are few catches. - Room maintenance is very poor, so if you are unlucky, you will find broken latches, open windows, no temperature controls in your AC, etc. However house keeping is very prompt to attend you and fix the problem. - Apartments are of traditional design. So if you are looking for modern design, please re-think. If I go to Goa next time, I do not hesitate to stay again in this hotel.
“Great Value Location and Service”
The special offer for my family of 4 made this resort very good value - we stayed for 16 days during April. Recommend you book the AC suite - which was well maintained and had a lounge area where two extra beds were organised for the children. The AC was quickly replaced when it went faulty.
Resort sits on direct access to Beach which was excellent. Swimming pool was very good (could have been better maintained). Staff and service was very excellent. Recommend the Bar on poolside. Food in restaurant was ok and could be better. But access to nearby restaurants was really good with Plantian Leaf (economy veg), Naan & curry, Suzo Lobo Fish restaurant worth recommending.
The Beach shacks tend to "own - you the customer" so beware but should give free access to sunbeds if you order drinks/meals from them. Avoid Damat shack. Transport was the biggest headache - especially from the "taxis" opposite the resort. Please avoid them and walk down to get better deals. AC Airport car must not be more than Rs. 900/1000. (non Ac
“Complete Sham...Extremely disappointing management”
We booked this hotel after considering the Expedia rating, but unfortunately the Paradise Village Resort has been one of our worst experiences in Indian Hotels. Firstly the rooms were not ready at the checking time of 12 am plus the staff was very rude and ambiguous while giving responses for the delays. Besides us, there were couple of more families fighting at the reception desk for their rooms as well. Also, once we got the rooms, they were very dirty and the housekeeping staff was not available for any services. Overall it was a very harrowing experience and the Paradise Resort management clearly are a highly irresponsible group of hospitality providers who misuse their customer's money and trust and do not provid ethe promised quality of stay. Our entire group of 12 members were extremely disappointed with the stay.

Calangute and Baga Beaches, Goa, India: Once a famed hippie hangout, Calangute is still popular for its beautiful beach. Calangute Beach, 15 km north of Panaji, is known as the Queen of Beaches. Visitors parasail, water ski, and windsurf during the day, then head to area restaurants for tasty local and international cuisine. The bars host a wide variety of music. The Kerkar Art Complex and St. Alex Church are also highlights here. Bordered on the north by Baga Creek, Baga Beach features vibrant nightlife, water sports, and beach shacks serving diverse eats to hungry visitors. While the resorts that have sprung up along both beaches make this a fairly high-traffic area, guests can still find pockets of calm in which to relax.
