A great stay tucked away from all the bustle of the central areas. Nice pool. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast included is nice. Requests are taken care of quickly. German Bakery restaurant, which has great food and deserts, just a five minute walk. Getting out to the main beach of Baga requires a taxi Anjuna Beach is walkable.

Chilled Hotel
Hotel was a little run down but the atmosphere is really relaxed which adds nicely to a very chilled stay. Staff can't do enough for you as well. Food is beautiful and always freshly cooked. The rooms are ok and clean but quite run down and old but then you realise this is normal for India the more you travel about the area. Despite this I would recommend a stay here and would definitely visit again myself

Nice quite hotel
the hotel is clean yet in need of some upkeep like repairing the pool area. The hotel is very clean and the grounds are maintained well. A quite alternative to the beach hotels however please note that the hotel is at the top of a hill (a little less than 1mile from beach). Not a bad walk theough town but the "hike" up hill would have been nice to be avoided. Overall good expierence
The most pathetic and outrageous stay i ever had, the place is isolated and no facilities available. One has to hire a cab to reach to the beach.. If you want walk.. Forget it. You will end up getting lost. The hotel dint even provided a dental kit. How stupid is that of them.
The location is beautiful and very peaceful. It's an ideal place for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are nice and cozy. Food is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is clean. I would definitely go there again!
The property and hospitality was very good. Good food and very reasonably priced. However, we felt the property is located bit interior, It is just our personal experience. Would suggest make your own transport arrangements!
Nirvana had good airy rooms and service was pretty good. Food quality was good as well. But Hotel is a bit isolated. Staff was well behaved. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with them for 5 days.
AC not working properly
Fridge not working properly
Phone not working properly
doors were poor. All sunmica was coming out.
Bed was also just ok.
Tolieteries were not provided in full.
Swimming pool was dirty.

Average hotel
Good property, not well maintained. Too far off and no sign board. Google maps has wrong address and route shown. Overall average hotel.
A decent hotel in a reasonable price, good food & service but lacked in maintenance!

Excellent views but rooms were a bit run-down
The resort complex itself is beautiful and the views from the room were excellent -- green, lush mountains. There was a generous patio where we could sit and enjoy the view. It was very serene. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable enough and the bed was clean. On the downside, the furniture was shabby, especially in the patio area, the towels were rough, and there were no mineral water bottles after the first night. The lighting was horrible - all overheads and no lamps. The buffet breakfast was very average both in terms of variety and quality. The room service menu was disappointing. We didn't eat much at the hotel so it didn't matter to us. It's a good base if you want to spend a lot of time outside. It's a bit isolated which means it's very quiet -- something we liked -- but your own transport is a must.

Nice Family hotel with friendly staff
Very helpful and friendly staff will help you out with advises how to get to the beaches or printouts of tickets.
A different view of Goa. Must visit.Although its a bit struggle to find the place but u cant find 'Nirvana' so eadsily...can you?
A fantastic view, a beatiful pool, a tranquil side of Goa but very close to the buzz. Attain your Nirvana now
The hotel is very nice, however a bit set away from the road, so transport is an issue but the hotel staff are very willing to help you out with solutions. Once at the hotel though, it is a nice relaxing getaway. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms however, in particular the bathtub could be cleaner, but other than that it is a well looked after property.
I would definitely recommend it for a stay at the current price.

Experience at Nirvana hermitage
The hotel was at a remote location in anjuna, which was good for us as a couple; but commuting became an issue. The staff and service was fine.
First, let me list down the downside....
==================================
--- Locating the property was a challenge when we reached there.... they MUST send a 'detailed' map mailed out ALL the guests.
---This property is a remote and there are no shops for atleast on (1) km. Especially since the restaurants close in the night, one has to be prepared on his own.
--- This property is not 2 kms away from beach.... the route is not walk able... we had to rent a bike
Now the things we liked...
==========================
The huts are great for privacy
The lady at reception almost always had a response.... even better that we expected and very prompt.
Pool is AWESOME !!!
Poolside bar & it's staff is just great in 'service with a smile'
The Restaurant -- it's ambiance, the food and it's staff were superb...
Feedback for Resort:
-- Open a corner shop for everyday stuff on the property
-- Make arrangements for 'eating' options which are open 24*7
Over all...... THANK YOU FOR THE LOVELY HOSPITALITY !!!

Nirvana
The location of the hotel is not good, it is to much far from city, required own vehicle, Road is also not good and confusing, not able to travel alone at night
Except hotel location, everything is just perfect with Nirvana Hermitage. Staff is very cordial and helpful. They make you feel comfortable and enjoy the stay. Food & Room service are best in class. Only problem with this hotel is its location. It's kind of secluded and if you are planning to enjoy the night life on Bagha, then you probably don't want to stay here. It is better to stay somewhere near Bagha beach. However, if you are not a night person, then this is certainly the place to be.
We reached the place close to midnight, yet the front desk and restaurant arranged our dinner on request. We found the staff friendly, cordial and ready to serve their clients at any time of the day. The place is amazing and true to its name. Overall it was a wonderful experience! We look forward to staying at this place again.
Moth ball all over the place make this place unbearable! The wait staff literally hang over your shoulder when sitting pool side. We couldn't sit back and enjoy our meal without some wait staff asking if we needed anything or how we were doing. They needed to take a step back and only have one server waiting on us not 6.
We asked for advice on how to get to a local bar and was told it was a 5 min walk. Turned out to be 30 mins and walking on a light-less street. Front staff didn't even offer to call a taxi or bother to help us plan our next few days. Not the most helpful bunch.
The pool was dirty, the shower was gross, our room smelled like moth balls. Not happy. We had planned for a 4 night stay and checked out after one night to move to a new place.
The otel is located in a secluded area in Anjuna Beach, very close to the famous German Bakery. The staff is well-mannered and the rooms are clean. The pool was in usable condition but with tree leaves all over it. They also had a pool table which was quite old, still usable. lt is a good place if you do not want to stay for long in hotel and want to explore rest of Goa.
The food, ambiance and the location of the place was superb. The room service was really poor. They just don't pick up the calls, we had go to the reception and to the pool-bar personally to order stuff each time. The room could have been a little better in terms of the quality of furniture kept.
Serene surroundings, hilltop location, spacious & cozy rooms, very tasty food, clean hotel, poolside resto & bar and courteous & polite staff. That sums it up. Had no problem during the stay. Only negative factor is that, it is a couple of kilometers away from the beach. But if you're renting a bike or car, then this is the place to be.
The property is nice but located at a hilltop. They say its close to the beach but its not a walkable distance. Atleast 2 Km. Their Standard Rooms and Delux Cottage are the SAME. We were 2 families and we had booked both. Infact i found that the standard room was larger than the so called delux cottage. The photo of the delux room gives an impression that you will get a double King size bed and a single Queen size bed... Wrong.... There is only 1 King size bed. You have to request for an extra bed which is small and hard. The photo of the room is not what you will get. So if you plan to book a delux room, dont waste money, standard room is better (except if the flooring and wall lamps matter more than the size of the room). Overall good hotel. Nice friendly and helpful people. A vehicle (hotel will help you rent it) is a must. I would prefer staying at a location closer to the beach or the markets. If you are a nature lover and want to sit in the room or hotel compound, you will love to stay here. Complientary breakfast is not great but reasonable good. I will give this hotel 6 out of 10. Very clean, very nice but location takes the hit.
