“Relaxing Oasis”
We stayed here for our anniversary and were very satisfied with our overall experience. We went to the loung for happy hour and enjoyed some great live music. Love that the pool and Jaccuzzi were open all night as well. I would definitely go back again. The spa was also incredible and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.
“Amazing stay!”
The staff was amazing anywhere we went, from check in, to the dining room, to room service, all the way up to check out. It was our first time there yet we were treated like we were long time guests.

The absolute best!!! Cannot beat it. Wish it weren't so expensive, though.
“Spacious rooms and great service”
Expedia lists the hotel rooms as having 2 queen size beds. This is not the case. They have no double queen rooms, only two double beds. When we arrived at the hotel and saw the beds, we called the front desk and explained the situation. They graciously switched us to a king room that had a queen size sofa sleeper for the kids. This was the only problem I encountered, but it was quickly remedied. The service at the hotel was excellent and we also ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, which were also good. I would stay again if I visit Gleneden Beach in the future and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quiet retreat away from the beach.
“little dated but comfortable”
My wife left her coat in the closet and they were kind enough to return it for us. Hotel was a little dated however, it was still nice and comfortable.
“Fair Price if you plan to use the pool and spa”
The room was nice, but not even close to the room in the picture. The beds are Not Queens, they are much smaller. The pool, hot tub, and gym were great! We loved that they were open 24hrs. The game room was ok, but about 1/2 of the games were out of order. Our room had the smallest possible bathroom (Our knees hit the door!). Only one bath robe was provided for all four of us to share! Overall it was fine, but not what was represented in photos or in descriptions on expedia. Good for families with kids that will appreciate the activities.
“Very Relaxong”
Salishan is wonderful if you are looking to relax in a comfortable setting. The spa services are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable, room service excellent. I have only one complaint about the lodge ... the restauraunt staff seemed uncomfortable seating a single woman so I chose to go to Lincoln City for breakfast when I would have prefered to stay there. My other complaint isn't about the logde but about Lincoln City - it's become more and more rundown and lacking in night life.

“Slipping”
Salishan is still a beautiful property - but - several issues need to be addressed. Some of the furnishings in our room were worn and dated . We paid for a golf course view room but could only see bits of the course around an overgrown bush. Sveral maintenence issues - ice machine not working , door to our room was sticking and very hard to open , cob webs all over our outside deck , etc. Another thing they need to adress is price/ value. They want you to pay for internet , no wine glasses in room, only one robe in room , extrordinary restaurant prices compared to some other excellent restaurants in Linclon City. ,
“Somewhat faded glory...”
• Hotel Review: Electronics dated which was disappointing. Small radio with Mp3 capability but quality so poor did not listen to music. Would have loved to hear some beautiful music. Old technology television. Advertised Starbucks coffee in room but a cheaper brand was available. Expect more from a hotel with this reputation. Still, quality materials used in room and the bed was comfortable. Nice relaxing walk to beach. Very quiet.
