I had an awesome stay!!
Lovely very soft bed, plenty of towel hanging space, large mugs in the room for drinks. Delicious, vast choices for breakfast and no need to order the night before 👍👍. Relaxed, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. And I had a shower WITH a bath!! Most rare these days. These are some of the small details sometimes missed in b and bs 😁 in addition to all the usual things you’d expect from a good B and B.

We stayed at the Glastonbury Town House in end July this year for about a week. Absolutely beautiful property with an excellent host. Paula was super friendly, personal and accommodating to our needs. We had to make special arrangements prior to arrival and her responses were quick and she really went all out to help us. We are extremely grateful to her! The Glastonbury Town House was clean and immaculately furnished. Love all the finishing touches that Paula and her husband put in! Its such a nice feeling to come back to our room after a long day of trekking. I've to say that the location of The Glastonbury Town House was superb as well - within walking distance of the city centre and the supermarket is across the streets! Besides having a fantastic host, a beautiful room and a wonderful location, the other added bonus of staying with Paula is.... *drum rolls*... the AMAZING hot breakfast she cooks and provides every morning! What a wonderful treat! Thank you, Paula!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Glastonbury and with Paula, and would highly recommend The Glastonbury Town House to everyone!

Genuine Gem!
From the moment Paula greeted us to leaving we had a brilliant time. We had the small twin room at the back overlooking the garden; it was very comfortable and had everything you might need with some lovely smellies in the bathroom, a nice touch. The beds were very good with quality bedding. The B&B is located a short walk away from the town centre and with walking distance of all the sights. Paula had lots of suggestions for places to eat and we took her advice and had a lovely meal at the local Italian restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was one of the best I’ve ever had - everything you could wish for and everything locally sourced and cooked freshly. It was a real pleasure to share Paula’s home and I hope we can return some time in the future.

Being welcomed by Paula was like being welcomed by an old friend. The room was beautifully clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the garden. Great for all the extra touches in the room - quality tea, fresh milk, extra blankets should we need them. Also the added bonus of having use of the outdoor area to relax. Going down for breakfast was another 10/10 experience. The selection of food catered for every need and was all beautifully fresh and a little too tempting. We opted for the cooked breakfast, which was freshly cooked to order and stunning. There is nothing negative I could say, except that eventually we had to leave. You would be hard pushed to find a top hotel delivering the experience we received at the Glastonbury Town House. A 10/10 place to stay. Can't wait to go back.

Nice, comfortable stay within easy walk of sites
This is a small B&B located within easy walking distance of Glastonbury Abbey and a longer but do-able hike up to Glastonbury Tor. The host is charming with good suggestions for dinner arrangements (including a discount). The back garden is lovely with a number of places to sit. The room was compact but comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. There was free wifi and free parking. Glastonbury Abbey is serene, whether you are mystically inclined or not, especially in the late afternoon when the numbers of tourists have dwindled. The village is quirky and provides a fascinating venue for people watching. It seems every mystical cult and spirituality has laid claim to the place but then it has been a centre of worship for millennia.

A nice stop over
Stayed one night on route from Cornwall to London. The B&B is on a main Rd & is quite easy to find. From The Town House there is a short walk to the town centre. On arrival the owner made us feel most welcome. We had a nice bedroom & on suite, both spotlessly clean. There were a few nice touches like shower caps & sleep masks, a good selection of teas / coffee a bottle of water.The room overlooked the main road but it was quite quiet at night time. There was a nice garden outside & a seating area that guests could use at the end of the garden. There was also a fridge in one of the out buildings that guests could use, which was handy to keep cold drinks. There was a good choice of breakfast, including fresh fruits as well as cereal & a choice of cooked breakfast. They also catered for dairy & gluten free guests. My partner had a Full English Breakfast, which he enjoyed & I had scrambled eggs, which were nice too. We were both very happy with our stay & would definitely stay there again.

Good location for exploring Glastonbury
Welcoming service, well appointed and comfortable rooms, clean and everything provided, with a super breakfast and obliging staff. You can explore Glastonbury Abbey, the Town and the Tor on foot from this location. Close to Wells, Street and other interesting towns.

Beautiful B & B with stressed landlady
We chose the Town House because it has such fab reviews. It looked perfect. And it is a beautiful B & B which is very comfortable and clean. However, we stressed out the landlady because: a) Apparently, we should have booked parking. b) When booking on Expedia, I accidentally booked for one person. I wrongly assumed that, because I had booked a double room, it would be for two people. And so when we arrived, the landlady was taken aback that there were two of us and not one. This was rectified by me paying another £14 for the second person. c) I had not emailed in advance to let her know that we needed a hyper-allegenic bedding. She did change the bedding but, because as she was expecting another check-in, we were made to feel as though we were being a total pain in the neck. d) She was unhappy that we did not let her know in advance what time we would be checking in. So, I think that in future, she needs email guests in advance with her requirements. Having said that the B & B is very comfortable and breakfast is excellent and so we have given 4 instead of 3 stars.

A home away from home
Paula is an incredibly talented, caring lady. The room is so comfortable in every way and also stylish. Pleasant for the eye and homey. Breakfast is rich and delicious, much thought is invested in the comfort of the guests (gluten free food, vegan options, etc. In the room comfy blankets, a sitting chair, direct heating in the shower). I stayed over Christmas and got smoked salmon and Buck's fizz for breakfast :) Paula was ever so nice, taking extra care for me (I stayed there by myself). The house is close to the town center in a very nice neighborhood. In short, I would definitely be returning there and you should come too!

Overnight stop, perfect for us. Easy to find on main road, but not disturbed by traffic even though room was at the front. Nice touches like fresh milk in thermos, good selection of teas in room and fresh water. Warm welcome and helpful suggestions for evening meal. Excellent breakfast.

This place is amazing! Paula is an amazing host! The townhouse is super clean and the attention to detail in the rooms was extraordinary. The townhouse is also only a few minutes walk to the town centre. To top it all off, Paula cooked the most scrumptious breakfast and we definitely over-ate! Highly recommended!!

This is centrally located so that it was easy to walk to local attractions. It was very clean, attractively decorated and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and prepared a great breakfast that set us up well for the day. I would definitely stay here again.

With an unexpected knee injury, I would have had difficulty pulling my luggage up a flight of stairs, but the host gladly did it for me. Breakfast was full English and delicious, a great way to start the day. There were many tasteful pieces of art adorning the breakfast room. Our room was updated, modern, and comfortable. Be aware that there are also several outside steps to climb.
