Séjour magnifique pour la fin de notre voyage. La chambre était parfaite et nous avons eu un upgrade pour un frais minime et cela nous faisait bénéficier du lounge exécutif en plus d'avoir des boissons alcoolisées et friandises dans notre chambre. Summum de l'attention est le fait qu'il y avait un fer plat dans la chambre et un presse pantalon, une première pour nous. Hôtel super bien situé à 2 pas du train, du métro et de la rue piétonne. Cela nous a permis de terminer notre voyage sur une note plus que positive. Merci à tout le personnel de l'hôtel Carlton

We had two rooms, 4 adults. One room was fine. Nothing to brag about. Biggest complaint for both rooms was the room was way too hot. Could not open window, there was no fan, and was unable to adjust thermostat. One room had no hot water at sink and multiple other problems. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast good. Would not stay here again or recommend to friend.

Great location, staff were excellent - courteous & friendly. We stayed as an extended trip for my husband's birthday & upon arrival in the room, there was a hand written note along with some chocolates. Such a kind gesture. The hotel is older, and looking tired in parts however the decor is really lovely especially if you are a fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh ( which I am!) Complimentary drinks came with the room ( soft drinks, beer, wine, water & some spirits) Bed was very large and exceptionally comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would definitely return.

The hotel was a good spot, had some issues with keys at first but the staff was fantastic. We had breakfast included, as was VIP deal. Hotel is very close to Queen Street Station. Area around hotel is a bit dirty with a lot of trash.

Always a good experience Staff helpful without any prompting Afternoon Tea on the rooftop restaurant is very popular. (But not my cup of tea) The hotel could not be more center city which means that there is continuing improvement.

Housekeeping was great. For the most part. Staff was very kind. The afternoon manager was persnickety and petty. Our friends had a much larger room for much less money, and we requested equity... an equal sized room and/or a reduced cost. He reluctantly agreed (we took the reduced cost). He was acting very put out and said that our friends room was an upgrade because of wifi problems, and that he 'learned his lesson' and will never upgrade anyone ever again. Right. Good lesson to learn from this. Everyone else there was very gracious. Tired old rooms and amenities. Quiet and clean. Stupid half-door showers get water everywhere.

A great place to say if you are visiting Glasgow. Close to stop 1 on the hop on hop off bus tour and Queen Street station for the trains. Friendly staff and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping from it.

Perfect City Break Hotel
Very well located for a Glasgow City Break. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Great staff in the hotel - extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a cofee machine and mini bar. Breakfast was good. Dining room overlooks the city. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Glasgow.

Near Royal Concert Hall
In Glasgow for a concert. Hotel ideally placed for the Concert Hall as well as train station, subway and Buchanan Street for shopping and restaurants. Hotel itself was excellent. The complimentary mini bar was a nice touch with decanters of whisky, gin and vodka as well as small bottles of red and white wine). Would certainly consider using this hotel again.

Great hotel for couples !
Excellent hotel on George Square in the centre of Glasgow and, great accommodation, and decco,executive lounge is well woth taking. Moni bar in the room was also included ! We paid extra for breakfast ! Would use this jotel on future visits to Glasgow !

Always a great experience staying here. Love the extras such as complementary minibar and lounge access. Bed extremely comfortable and room a lovely size.

Only 2 lifts and one out of action, decor tired and lounge not the most aspiring but absolutely fantastic location and good value for money

Excellent location, spacious room, complementary minibar is a highlight. Funnily enough, they remembered to refill the consumed alcohol but forgot about the still and sparkling water
