"Fantastic people quiet getaway. "
mike and Jenny are great hosts. They operate a spot that truly gives you a jungle experience and they cater to your every need. They were able to book all our excursions (Tikal,ATM, transfers to and from airport) with a very reputable tour company. Food was very good and priced very fairly.

"Charming small hotel nicely situated on the river."
Staff was great, helpful, friendly, worked hard to make it a good experience. Food was excellent. Loved the setting on the river. Somewhat hard to find, out of the way. Down an unpaved, very bumpy road. Have to take a taxi to town. Would stay there again if going back to the area.

"Nice hotel with a beautiful view!"
We took a bus from Belize city to San Ignacio. It is 4 usd per person for the bus ride. It might have taken longer than using a shuttle service, which i believe was 95 usd, but well worth the savings. The bus is a standard school bus and was full but it was only the two of us traveling so it wasn't hard to find a seat together. It is a 2.5 to 3 hour trip depending on traffic and how many stops the bus makes. I liked the bus because of the scenery and we had the opportunity to talk to a lot of locals that where really friendly. Once in San Ignacio the bus stop had plenty of taxis around to help us get to the hotel. I paid 4 USD. Everything about this hotel was perfect! Once we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and a beautiful view. The room had a balcony where it overlooked the city. Since they are on top of a hill it is a bit of a chore to walk down and back up so it was very convenient that they had a restaurant and bar on the main floor. The food and drinks where immaculate. Everything they made came with a presentation and the prices where less than expected. The walk to the ruins was only a few minutes, maybe 5-10 minuets. It was 5 usd per person for the park fee and there was a lot to see. The next day we saw the butterfly place, disc golf, nature walk, shopping and went to the Xunantunich ruins. It was a wonderful place to visit, nice people, beautiful scenery, shopping and too much to do!

"Super friendly laid back smaller resort"
Stayed her with wife and 4 kids of 8-14. Great base for exploring Tikal and the jungle side of Belize. Short cheap taxi to San Ignacio. Nice little pool and bar and all the staff were super friendly. Outdoor covered restaurant had limited options but food was always good and tasty. We booked all our trips Nd transfers through the hotel and in all cases the drivers and guides were excellent. I'm sure we could have got them cheaper by shopping around but we wanted limited fuss and maximum fun and it worked out great. We got aircon cabins by the pool and they were great - not luxurious but very nice, clean and well maintained. Btw Laundry service was a plus and very reasonable too

"Comfortable Resort"
This is a small resort where you can get to know the staff. Everyone was very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food cooked fresh to order for every meal was always good and if you asked for something that wasn't on the menu they would try to make it if they were able to. The pool was very clean and the bartenders were great making drinks. It's location was great, only a five minute walk to town.

"Amazing experience "
Had an absolutely amazing stay for our honeymoon. Amazing hotel and the staff are the most helpful and accommodating I've met on my travels. Great array of activities available. We visited Barton creek cave, and tried zip lining and caving. I would highly recommend both as they were great experiences. Our guide on both days was Brandon and he fantastic. Great knowledge and so friendly. We also had a couples massage which was the best massage we have ever had. I fell asleep twice during it! The only negative is that the evening a la carte menu is over priced for what it is as you can find very good quality food for a fraction of the Price in San Ignacio. Breakfast and lunch options were great though. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Cayo District and looking for a unique and personal experience. Thank you for creating a special honeymoon for us Ka'ana.

"Very quiet. Awesome scenery. "
The road to the Inn is very bad. If driving in yourself, you need to have the appropriate vehicle. Make sure the rental company allows your vehicle to go off of paved roads. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The main building at the resort is a house that was converted and the rooms are free standing duplexes a short walk from the main building. When we arrived, we were greeted outside and given a short orientation on the resort and surrounding property. The rooms are nice. There is a phone and fireplace, but no TV or air conditioner. A ceiling fan makes sleep comfortable. The staff kept our room spotless. They also have a fireplace in each room with a stockpile of wood/kindling. This was a nice amenity as it got slightly chilly at night. There is a pool, screen porch, small lounge with reading material, bar, and dining area. 7200 acres of land to explore on foot or by vehicle. Butterfly Falls is amazing and worth the hike. You can swim in the pool at the bottom, but the water is spring fed so it’s a bit cold. You need to be in moderately good shape to go on the hikes. There are walking sticks at the entrances to most trails. I would recommend taking them as they help with all of the rocks/steps you need to navigate. The Cascade Trail is also highly recommended. It follows the river and has numerous primitive bridges across the water. Dining was very good. The chef knows what he is doing. Continental breakfast is othing special: yogurt, cereal, juice, a few piece
