The shower was dirty, the towels were torn, and the beds were very hard. When I left, I wasn't even given an acknowledgment, yet I was chased out when the front desk person was asking for the due tax. I toldher to charge it to the credit card on file and she said there was none and I needed to glow her back to pay. Extremely rude and embarrassing how she treated me, considering how much I spent for the stay. When I walked in, she went behind the counter and said that in fact there was a credit card on file, yet she didn’t apologize for treating me like a thief.

Second stay within a week
Our second stay within a week. The first time was a 10/10. Second time, I will only give 8.5/10 as the bedding was badly made and the pillows were paper thin (useless). Other than that, I would definitely recommend it and come back without hesitation (I would just request better pillows 😉).

The hotel parking not free, we had to search for a parking outside every time. The caretaker sitting at the entrance useless, not even reply to our good morning, we thought he was a client at first, we said hi many times with no reply. At restaurants they welcome us with stress no smile at all, they ask if we’ve paid several times, was still not sure 🤔 she kept saying she doesn’t have the information. Apart from that the rest personal reception maintenance everything and everyone was great 👍 5 star ⭐️

the hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful and kind. there is nothing to do in the area the hotel is located in. the nearest train stop is 15 minutes walk. the breakfast at the hotel was very crowded and there wasn't much of a variety.

Friendly and helpfull staff. However it is let down by the lack of restaurants or proximity to the beach. The pictures give the impression that it is a beach front hotel but the beach is actually a 15 minutes walk down and a 30 minute walk up (unless you are an athelete) I did not find €150/night value for money

Amazing! Great service, great location. Only challenge was learning that there is only one there is only one taxi service in Genova, no Uber/Lyft/Shuttle. But the staff was so helpful and would call the taxi company for me to translate.

Food was really not good !
The hotel it’s self is modern and comfortable. However the food in the restaurant was really very poor indeed. The night I stayed, I was the third guest to complain. I was really rather ill afterwards. Very disappointing from such a large Hotel Chain. My company had a large global spend with Marriott hotel group. I will be reporting back about this. However what I would say, the staff were extremely helpful ! They all did their very best to ensure I was ok after I complained. It’s not their fault and they did really do all they could to make things better. They also refunded my food bill. I don’t like making a complaint as I do feel it’s unfair on the front of house staff. It’s not their fault ! Also the menu of the restaurant is very very limited if you do not eat fish (I can not eat any fish or seafood) it left me with one meal choice ! I had to order from the bar menu

Nice enough room. Clean gym. Nice breakfast. We had a lot of bad hotels on this trip so AC Hotel Genova was a nice reprieve. Would book again.

The roof top restaurant has very nice views and could be made more than a dry basic restaurant. The food was below par. We were told the following day that they just hired a new chef. You need a better chef.

This is my second long stay at the Genova AC hotel this year. It was a business trip for me but I came with my family too. It is my favourite hotel in town. It’s in a great location, it is clean, modern, looked after. The new lounge, bar and restaurant area is lovely. My only problem with it is the pillows, which are way too soft and bulky and they offer no support, as well the heating/ac arrangement. But apart from that it is a great hotel and the staff are truly caring and lovely. Thank you, I will be back again for sure!

The staff were excellent, from our housekeeper to the manager everyone was professional, pleasant, and very courteous. Our initial experience upon arrival wasn’t very good, but Federica was a delight to work with and she and her staff made our stay absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Genova.

Beautiful contemporary hotel!
A beautiful and very contemporary hotel. Very nice restaurant and excellent service. There is not much you can walk to but the bus to the city center stops right across the street and the hotel sells bus tickets.
