“Convenient and Reasonable in Geneva”

Although this hotel was a very basic, "no frills " hotel, it was in a convenient location, very clean, large room and bathroom, nice breakfast room and the people were friendly. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone who does not need a whole lot of amenities.An enjoyable stay.

“Central situation”

This hotel is situated opposite the main railway station in Geneva. The hotel itself does not provide dinner but there is a wide variety of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was quite substantial. But be prepared for Swiss prices.

“Very Happy”

Overall the Bernina was a very nice hotel and in an extremely convenient location (literally right across from the Geneva Central train station) and in close walking proximity to what you might need and want (restaurants, the Lake, the shopping areas). Courteous front desk staff, comfortable bed, etc. Was extremely pleased...Good value for the money.

“Great, centrally located, well priced hotel”

While this hotel is by no means luxurious, it definitely has the creature comforts one needs for staying in a city such as Geneva, and at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was quite nice (by no means fabulous, but it fit the bill and was better than the usual continental breakfast in North America), the room had all the amenities necessary. Wireless internet was very reliable and rather useful in the room and throughout the hotel. No air conditioning, the hotel is old (built in 1932) and the furniture is of an older style (1980s perhaps?) but all is useful and suits the purpose.

“Very enjoyable”

Directly opposite the station but well insulated from noise. 5 minute walk from the lake and 10-15 from the old town. Breakfast room gets busy in the morning but is effectively managed. Free public transport ticket provided when you check in allows you to use buses and trams in town while you;re there.

“Hotel pas cher près de la gare de Genève Cornavin”

Parfait pour passer une nuit avant de prendre le train (la gare est à 50 mètres) Un peu spartiate mais parfaitement propre et adapté en cas de voyage le matin tôt. Isolation sonore de chambre à chambre très mauvaise c'est le seul point noir. Heureusement je ne comprends pas l'urdu, sinon j'aurais participé aux conversations de mes voisins (bruyants)

“Cheer up at the front desk”

Good location right opposite the main train station. Rooms clean and tidy, Free WiFi is a bonus. Coffee & Tea in Lobby is a convenience. Staff at reception are not very welcoming -- professional enough, but lacking any real enthusiasm/welcome. Overall a good value comfortable convenient location
