Disgusted

Posted 20-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
The employees were very nice. The hotel looked appealing from outside. However the hotel room was FILTHY. The bath tub had hair in it, the jetted tub had brown particles/dirt all inside, there were ashes all over the side table, and there was half of a roll of toilet paper in the room. The room itself looked like there were no cleaning service employed. I will NEVER stay there again. Needless to say I got a refund.

Do not stay here at all costs.

Posted 20-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
Not one thing positive about this place other than the fact it's close by The Smokey Mountains. Staff was somewhat helpful but after having to move into 3 different rooms and room keys not working properly after the 2nd night of stay.

Decent pet friendly hotel

Posted 10-Jan-2015
Pros: The location is close to the park entrance, so it is convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The room had balcony and river view.
Cons: Update the beds and bedding. They are very uncomfortable.
Location: The location is on the end of the parkway where it turns into the national park and convenient to Gatlinburg.
Stayed here with family for a 5 day vacation. The hotel seems older and has quite a bit of wear and tear. The rates were reasonable and they are pet friendly, which was nice. The hallways did have slight smell of smoke, probably coming from the smoking rooms. Not too bad though. I did not notice any smalls inside the room, which was non smoking. Be aware that you cannot leave your pets unattended in the rooms at any time, even when crated or they will charge a fee. There was a nice jetted tub in the room. The water was nice and hot, but the jets were not working. The beds were uncomfortable, with thin, worn sheets and only two flat, small pillows. The front desk would not give us any extra bedding or pillows for the room.

Okay for price, jacuzzis don't have hot water

Posted 8-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
Advertised, this hotel looks like the best deal in town. It's one of the cheapest rates we could find and it has an indoor pool and jacuzzis in every room. I saw many reviews about having hot water troubles, but it had been a few weeks so I was assuming it was probably resolved. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi was nice looking, however we came to find it only had cold water coming to it. Same for the in room sink. Luckily, the regular shower had hot water but we were still disappointed by the jacuzzi. It's definitely something they are not fixing anytime soon. For the price though, the room was good. Just don't plan on staying here for the jacuzzi! Also the pool closes at 10 (inconvenient if you ask me, considering people are usually out all day and want to use the pool when they get back)

Terrible upkeep

Posted 6-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
Our room wasn't ready until 2.5 hours past the said time to check in. Our room was pretty upon entry. Closer inspection showed nasty carpets, broken jacuzzi and busted tiles all around the jacuzzi.

not bad for the price

jacuzzi, indoor pool, queen size bed, mini fridge, balcony... all for $55 a night. fold out bed was broken, was denied extra towels so there are not enough towels to swim and shower. hotel was right on down the strip from all the sites.

No way to tell if a dog has stayed in your room

Posted 6-Jan-2015
Cons: Have designated pet rooms.
Location: The hotel is at the very beginning of Pigeon Forge if you arriving from Gatllinburg.
Upon arrival, the hotel looked abandoned; however, you can't really tell what section of the hotel that you are staying in until checking in. We stayed in a newer section of the hotel, but still in need of some renovations. I and my son are allergic to dogs and I didn't realize that pets could stay in ALL the rooms until I overheard the person in front of me talking about the pets in her room. Unfortunately, the desk clerk said that USUALLY dogs stay on the 2nd floor and our room was on the 1st floor. As we were walking to our room, I see a dog entering a 1st floor room. Our room was clean. The faucet was really loose, but it was clean. I was uneasy the whole time because of the possibility of the animal being in our room before. Had I been able to cancel the hotel, I would have moved to another location. I like dogs, just not in my room. So, if this doesn't bother you then the hotel would work if you just want a place to lay your head. The room was clean, but in need of some repairs. The inside pool room had built up so much moisture on the ceiling that it continuously dropped on us while watching the kids swim.
