“Absolutely Awesome”

My husband and I checked in late - around 11:30pm for our honeymoon. The desk clerk was very friendly and wished us fun for our trip. The indoor pool was Beautiful and the hot tub was very relaxing! Room was comfy and clean and the bedroom had a balcony and lots of space. This was such a good price for such a nice place. I would be willing to spend a week in this hotel - it was wonderful.

“Wonderful Hotel at a Great Price”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The room was wonderful and very clean. We ask for a queen room and recieved a king. Which was so nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool and hot tub area were clean and so beautiful. The hotel was in a easy access area also. The rates and comfort of the room was well worth it. The Cafe had incredible food at a good price. If you want a good meal and wonderful service, try the Cafe at the Hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much and will go back.

“Would definitely stay there again!”

We had a great time at the Sidney James. Yes, it was a little dated, but clean and well maintained. I have 2 little girls and I go prepared with disinfecting wipes, but this hotel was very clean. We paid for an economy room, but when we got there we were upgraded to a creekside room. We were on the top floor (the 4th) and our room had a vaulted ceiling and a ceiling fan as well as balcony overlooking the creek. It was very nice. My girls loved the lagoon-like pool so my much my 3 year old has not stopped talking about it. We can't wait to go back!

“Great Value”

This hotel was older but very clean and comfortable. Indoor pool/hot tub area was very nice. Front desk workers were helpful. Can't beat the price for a quiet getaway in walking distance to Downtown Gatlinburg--Will stay again!

“My stay at Sidney James Mountain Lodge”

This is the 2nd year my family has stayed at Sidney James and we love it. Every one is so nice and the motel is located conventaly close to attraction. We will be using Sidney James for many years to come!

“excellent for value”

we have been to this hotel about once every four months for the past 2 years. we love it. we have tried other hotels in the area, but sidney james always calls us home! it is perfect for that quick get-away and the price is always the best you can find. the indoor pool is great for the kids in the middle of winter. we love it, and we will be back.

“Lovely Hotel”

I loved the hotel it was extremely clean and the surroundings were incredible! It was close to everything and the creek was beautiful. The only problem I had was with the bed. I think it is definately time to upgrade and get some new more comfortable beds. It wasn't the worst night of sleep I have ever had or anything but it definately could have been better. Other than that everything was wonderful and I would love to go back!

“Good Deal, Will Go Back”

The hotel was relatively inexpensive, clean, pretty comfortable and in a GREAT location. The front desk service was great. It's easily in walking distance (a few blocks) to downtown Gatlinburg. I will definitely stay there again.

“Loved It!!!”

My other half and I stayed in the king jacuzzi suite for a weekend getaway. Upon entering the hotel we were a little skeptical about it but once we opened the door we were astounded. The room was everything we'd hoped for plus some. The stream running behind the hotel was an amazing view from our balcony. I will definitely be a return customer.
