“Great place for the money. Walking distance to Downtown.”

it was a little scary looking from the road but when we got in the room it was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and there was a small couch to sit in. The TV remote didn't work and they never fixed it. However we would stay there again. Great place for the money. There is an amasing view for the river from the back of the room.

“Great Hotel”

Rocky waters was a great hotel. It was an easy walk to center of town. It was also a great time to go. It was not crowded and all the Christmas lights were pretty. I recommend you go to Dollywood and see the lights and shows there.

“Delightful place to stay”

Everything was ready for us when we arrived. The hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable, curteous and easy to work with. The hotel was an older hotel so as not in perfect condition, it was being maintained pretty well. We injoyed our stay and would return.

“Nice experience”

We had one of the rooms on the road side of the stream. This meant that our view from the balcony was of the stream and wooded area on the opposite bank. A very relaxing atmosphere.

“Very relaxing....just plan your trip wisely...”

The signs are confusing, because they says "Days Inn" on them where you check in...they should really change that. We went to the Rocky Waters office first, and they told me that we were registered at the Days Inn behind them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in quickly and got exactly the room we reserved. The room was probably one of the cleanest motels rooms I'd ever stayed in. Not a cobweb or anything to be found. The room's are on the smaller side, but very well appointed. We had a king bed, small couch, table, chair, desk, dresser, wardrobe, TV, small fridge and microwave with coffee maker. The woodburning fireplace was very nice, and there was plenty of cut firewood on the balcony. The river was very soothing...HOWEVER, you couldn't hear it over the construction traffic taking place on the street. They are installing a new waterpipe or something, and the drilling and jackhammering started around 8:30am every morning. They were done by 5pm usually. We forgot to bring lotion and when I went to the front desk to see if they had any, they didn't, but the clerk offered me her own lotion to use! How nice! The breakfast isn't stellar...bagels, cereal, juice, donuts...but it will suffice until you get up and out to get a "real" breakfast. Make sure you get there when they put it out at 7:30 because one day we went down around 9am and it was about wiped out.

“Rocky Waters Gatlinburg, TN”

We have been staying at the Rocky Waters for many years. We love the quiet, quaint, comfortable rooms and the babbling stream outside our window. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and all of the activities on the strip are close enough to walk while we are far enough away to feel like we are in the country.

“cozy Mt. upgrade”

we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. when we pulled up the outside didnt look like we expected but it was winter time. once we walked in it was very nice and cozy, check in was very fast. when we got to our king room(wich was a steal at that price) the heater was broken and it was colder in the room than it was outside, but i called the desk and they got us a new room within ten min. when we got to the new room we realized we had been upgraded to the fierplace foom with private balcony entrance, we were thrilled. it was a nice room with the cozy mt charm we have come to expect from gatlinberg. if your expecting it to look like a spa your wrong, but it was cozy and cute. all and all we really enjoyed our stay and will go back again.

“Really nice get a way”

It was a comfortable stay, and the pool was a nice escape for the weekend. This was just a weekend last minute trip and I was really satisified with the room and the staff. Housekeeping runs a little late but if your out and about it should be no issue.
