“Not impressed at all”

If you like black mold, dirty carpet, non-smoking rooms that may as well be smoking rooms then this is your spot. Convenently located, but that's the only compliment we can give.

“You get what you pay for”

We stay at this hotel on average 5 times a year and love the location and always get a room over the creek. This time we elected to get what they call a smoking room on expedia. HUGE MISTAKE. We do not smoke and the room stunk (Which we expected to endure that for the cheaper price) What we did not expect was that this part of the hotel being so much different from the other end. The light in the bathroom had to be held in between on and off to come on, the toilet paper holder was falling off, the toilet did not flush properly, it was over the pool with people running all over all day and night. Apparently, the maid service starts at this end. They knock at 7:30 in the morning (we are on vacation) and when we tell them we are not up they don't come back and clean the room(When we left the room the cart was still in front of our room) instead they hang our towels which we are responsible for on the outside of the door for anyone to take or use. They did not leave cups condiments or coffee or if they did someone took them, I had to get that from the office.Great location, but pay the extra money for the rooms on the other end you will wish you had.

“Extremely Disappointed”

The hotel was by far older than depicted on its website and our room definitely did not reflect the one on which I based my decision to choose the Quality Inn Creekside. It clearly had not been updated in years as the carpet held huge stains (I would not walk barefoot on the nasty carpet), the furniture was worn and needed dusted, the hook on the bathroom door fell off in my hand, the lighting was extremely poor, and service by the hotel staff was less than adequate. The toilet stopped up, we called for service and after waiting an hour for a custodian, I finally went to the front desk and requested service again. When the custodian finally arrived, she attempted to hand me the plunger to use myself!! I think not, sister. The beds were horrible and squeaked every time someone moved; the pillows flattened out like pancakes. If I ever visit Gatlinburg again, I will not stay at this dilapidated place!
