“Planning another trip back !!!”
This was my first trip to Gatlinburg and I was very impressed by all it has to offer. There are so many places to stay..we wanted a good price and to be close enough to walk everywhere We got it here....Met people who have stayed at the same place for years...staff is real nice..place is clean...can't wait to go back
“Good value, would stay there again”
Very reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff, two blocks from street with main downtown attractions, trolley stop near parking lot entrance.
“Excellent location & price!”
This hotel was right off the main strip in downtown Gatlinburg. The owners/managers were extremely friendly & helpful, the room was clean & fresh & pretty large (although the bathroom was small). The room had a king bed, as well as a couch, and FREE WiFi. We would definitely stay there again!
“decent place for the price”
decent place for the price close to downtown easy walking distance
“Weekend getaway”
The location was great. It was very convenient to the downtown area. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean. Our only complaint about the room was the beds are sooo uncomfortable. They were extremely hard and not enough pillows. But it was a nice little hotel for a short weekend.
“Greatest Place!.....in 1968 maybe.”
Most of the other reviewers must have stock in this place..... The Good: The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the location is top notch if you like Gatlinburg - which is an odd place if you don't enjoy carnival like pits of sadness smattered with bright lights and pancake houses seated at the base of beautiful national parks. Free wifi if you could get it. The bathroom was ok, but small. The Bad: I don't go into pools, but I definitely would not go into that pool. Looked green and gross. The room was cleanish but smelled of years of smoking and use had taken it's toll. The place smelled like and reminded me off my grandparents house, who bought it in the 60's and lived and raised 6 kids in it for 30 years. We had to buy a candle to combat it. This joint was wooooorrrnnn. The Ugly: The sheets. Disgusting. Yellow, full of holes and other stains. We pulled the comforter back up and opted to sleep on top of the sheets instead of under and between them. We brought a blanket in from the car to sleep on the hard bed. The Weird: Why was a bible opened up to Psalms and laid out on the table? Let me appreciate Jesus in my own way Mountain Inn. As a 2 star motel it didn't break the bank. Would have rather paid more for comfort. The other reviews are extremely misleading. We stayed here at the end of a long road trip and saw our fair share of hotels - this was a true dud. If you're goal is to see the Smoky's and you must stay in Gatlinburg, pick another place.
