“Excellent family place to stay”

This was a lovely place to stay. The room was so much more than we anticipated. So big and comfortable for the price! Very quiet and peaceful. The indoor pool was perfect on a rainy day. Easy access to all the Gatlinburg shopping and attractions! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

“A great getaway”

The hotel was clean and filled with everything that was promised. The staff was kind and always willing to help. The pool was a great time to relax with our family. It was well maintained. The closeness of the hotel to major attractions was also very helpful. But it was also nestled in the forest so you also had a secluded feeling. I would recommend this place to anyone.

“Clean, spacious, but uncomfortable beds”

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean, but the beds were very uncomfortable and the room very out dated.

“Overall good stay, but definitley and "aged"!”

We got thier late and there was no real explanation of how to check in. There was someone in the lobby but the dorrs were locked. I knocked on the door she told me to use a phone on the wall. After being put on hold someone finally answered and told me that I was checked in and when I told her I did not have any keys to get into the room, she was shockecd and put me on hold again. Then she came back and told be a lock box combination of how to get my keys. Just seemed not as professinal as it should have been. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The price was perfect! The room had a jacuzzi tub that was huge! The jacuzzi by the indoor pool was in very poor shape though. Overall good stay, but definitley and "aged" facility.

“Spring Break”

We went for spring break with the family. I rented two rooms both rooms were clean and well kept. The original reservations was for the second room to have two twin beds but only had one queen in the second room , so two of the kids slept on the sofa bed. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We hated the walk in the morning to swap towels it was a long walk from our room to the laundry we were on the third floor in the A building and had to walk to the end of B building, We felt that check in time is too late 4:00 pm. and check out is too early 10:00 a.m. then you have to strip the beds and clean up before you leave. But we would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay again if we ever went back to Gatlinburg.

“Great value!”

The price for a holiday weekend was unbelievably low, the unit was huge (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) and was very clean. The only down-side is that the decor is dated (kitchen and bathrooms are straight out of the '80s). The bed in the master bedroom was soft and sagged a bit in the middle, but I don't know if all units are the same. Overall, a great value and I would stay there again.

“Nice mountain top experience”

We did enjoy our stay. We found the condos to be very nice rooms. We were in building B. The elevators there were extremely slow. However, our daughter was in Building C floor 4 and their elevators (2) were very fast.

“Spring break 2012”

The room was more than what I imagined. Perfectly suited myself and 4 young ladies on their spring break. The girls loved the pool and hot tub. Only disappointment was the fact they didn't realize there was a tennis court till we were leaving.

“Would return, good price”

Great price for this two bdrm unit at Laurel Point. Staff helpful. Nice indoor pool. However, they only provide you with one serving of coffee in your room for the stay and there isn't a bill changer to use the laundry facilities, so take your own stash of quarters or wash clothes when you go home. Units are dated. Beds comfortable. Worth what I paid but not what they normally charge. Close to Ober Gatlinburg. Small playground area for kids. Did not go to game room, but one is available. Staff stated they were striving for 5-star rating; but they have a long way to go to achieve that level in my opinion. Also said they were a gold crown resort, I've stayed in alot nicer resorts that are gold crown. Laurel Point just really needs alot of updating to deserve the gold crown status in my opinion. Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but would be difficult to drive there in the snow as it is on the mountain and roads are winding on the way.

“Pleasantly surprised.”

A very well maintained place. Comfortable and very clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We got a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit and it fit 2 adults and 3 kids well for the three day weekend, even though the sofa bed was a little rough to sleep on. The office closes at 5 P.M. but has a phone next to lock box outside the office where you can call and get the combination to open the lock box to get the room keys. We got there at 11:30 P.M. with no trouble getting into our room. The only negative is that the entry to the resort is hidden and located around a curve which is rather hazardous. Overall, it was a very nice stay. Will definitely go back again.
