“Out of a painting”

This resort was not only everything I thought it would be, but more. Comfortable, clean, quiet,charming and wonderful people---but a view out of a painting. Close enough to town (11 miles) but might as well have been another world. We saw more ducks and wild turkeys than people. What a great getaway.

“A Nice Getaway”

I was extremely satisfied with my trip to Gatlinburg, and stay at Deer Ridge Resort. The room was well kept and clean. Plus, it is about a ten minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The rates were practical for the condo. I would and have recommended others to go there and stay.

“great place”

The room was spacious, beds comfy and kitchen useful. The view was breathtaking, the drive there was a little hair raising. The pool was most relaxing and clean. The only thing to be improved was a little updating; the iron, for instance, useless because of a black burnt on mess. I advised the desk of this when I left, they seemed appreciative. Breakfast ingredients are not provided and would have been a plus.

The views from the room were breathtaking. It was a great value for the money. We will stay here from now on!

“What a great place to stay in the Smokeys”

We poked around on the Internet to find a decent place to stay around the Gatlinburg, TN area. After doing our search we found the Deer Ridge Mountain Resort. Are we glad we did. This is more like renting a condo, than a hotel room. The kitchen was stocked with all the essential utensils. The rooms were clean and neat. Once we opened the patio door, we realized we had really picked the best location. The view of the Smokeys were spectacular!

“Better Than Expected”

It was a winding steep drive but a very pleasant ending. We didn't know what to expect as we hadn't been there before. We were amazed and thrilled. It was even better than expected and the view from our room was awesome! Will go back again. Very quiet and peaceful. Great get-a-way we needed.

“The best week-end stay ever!”

Our stay here at Deer Ridge Mountain Resort has been far more than we expected. The accomendation and provisions were outstanding. The apartment was clean and roomy. It was peaceful and quie, and the view was awesome. Our time spent here has been wonderful. We will definetly be back!

“Deer Ridge Mountain Resort by Great Smoky Mountain”

High at the top of a mountain in Great Smoky Mountain area. A nice place to stay. Excellent mountain view especially during sunset. The room is clean and roomy. The sofa bed is a kind of too "soft". The only inconvenience is the difficulty in finding the resort. A better direction to access the resort would help a rgeat deal.

“Best View in the Smokies”

So much more comfortable than a squashed hotel room, we were able to spread out and relax, far enough away from the city to enjoy the mountains, close enough to get into Gatlinburg and enjoy the attractions. We will most likely be back. Already planning the trip!

“Exceptional Place to Stay”

Away from all the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg but close enough to restaurants and other activites. Condos are as pictured: spacious, clean and a provided a very enjoyable stay with a lovely view and atmosphere. No comparison between this environment and that of a hotel/motel. Enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony each morning. A good value for the money. Highly recommend Deer Ridge. The Expedia price did represent a significant saving.
