Good value hotel close to the center pf Nimes
Good hotel with free parking outside though the birds did crap all over my car. You could instead pay for secure parking

average hotel. though good for France
The hotel is just ok. Average. Nothing special. But quite comfortable oaverall. Good for 1 night stop-over. Has a free paking on-site (rare thing for France) Breakfast for extra charge (about 10 EUR) - was poor. Croissants and slices of cheese and ham.

Clean and comfortable stay in Nimes
Hotel Campanile Nimes Centre was clean and comfortable. We did end up driving closer in to town and walking everywhere from there, but one could walk from this hotel if you had the time, or take busses etc. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great.

Don’t use the car park!
Room was small, very dated and their car park is also used as a mobile drive through COVID testing site which we were not made aware of until we noticed when we were leaving, otherwise we definitely wouldn’t have stayed here.

This hotel is OK just if you have to do a stop over and you need the parking (extra 5 euro). Otherwise it is rather sad, impersonal and old

Very good location and good price for quality.
The hotel has a very good price for quality, the location is very good when it comes to eating and shopping, a lot of restaurants nearby, McDonald's, Domino's, Asian food and many others, very close to the La Galerie - Cap Costières Shopping Centre and some markets. The room is ok, not that big, but very clean, comfortable and everything was working. It has a coffee/tea maker machine, which was great for us. Breakfast was very good, too. It has a big and accessible parking as well.

The rooms are so small they sold it as to sleep 3 people if the third person is asleep you can not get into the bathroom/toilet it was so dirty the room is right on a main road noisy just not nice

This hotel requested my credit card details on arrival so that any tab I raised could be billed to my room. I did not have breakfast at this hotel, nor use any of the facilities. I have arrived home to find a completely unexplained £45 transaction on my credit card paid to the hotel without my permission. I do not know what this charge is for. I have contacted the hotel but received no response so far. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody, they are greedy scammers.

An upmarket budget hotel at a good price
Hotel Campanile – Nimes Date of visit – 9 February 2017 Fairly easy to find and within walking distance of Nimes. Plenty of street parking and if you are lucky there might be a space immediately in front of the hotel. Allocated rooms on the 3rd floor at the front overlooking the main road. There is a lift as well as stairs. The doors are locked at night and access is by keycode. The rooms are a good size with a king sized double bed. The bathroom is a good size too, towels and shower soap is provided. A kettle and supplies for making tea/coffee are provided. There is a TV and free WiFi that works well. Everywhere is clean and well looked after. There is a Lidl only 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

Great hotel in Nimes
We were passing thru town and needed a hotel with easy access to the major expressways. There was a bus nearby and we to of the bus into town so we did not need to move our car. We also ate dinner that night at the hotel and it was excellent. I would recommend this hotel highly

MOTEL not a hotel
This bug infested hotel is right next to a McDonalds that is open until 1am. Except loud music from cars and people hanging outside of it. The AC stopped working after 20 mins. The bed was lumpy and the room was very uncomfortable. This was a horrific stay was topped off by ants invading the bathroom later on in the evening.

Practical location for travelers with car
The hotel is easy to find, and close to the highway, which is what I needed since I was only passing by. You need to have a car. This is not a good location for tourists who want to explore the historic part of Nimes as it is on the outskirts of Nimes. The neighborhood is safe and there is free parking in front of the hotel.

Lack of AC/Services!
July 2015 - If you are going in the summer, AC is not very good at this hotel. They changed our room twice but not much air flow. No Hair Dryer or fridge (large or mini), VERY basic room & Internet is intermittent. If you only want to sleep and don't mind the heat its good, if not look elsewhere!

Highly recommended. Room is clean and comfortable. Food is great and very reasonably priced. There are also an Aldi and lots of other bars/restaurants nearby. It is around 13-14 minutes walk from the train station.

The Hotel was advertised as Nimes Centre,which it was certainly not.at least a 25/ 30 minute walk which as it was 41 degrees was a very annoying the other option was a taxi, which varied in price from 10 to 14 eruos. i think the description is misleading and should be changed

Typical Campanile, does what it says on the tin. Very convenient access to autoroute, warm, clean room with comfortable bed and the standard, basic but good menu. Am a confirmed user of Campanile Hotels as a one-night stop-over and will continue.

Convenient hotel for business stay
The Mas Carbonnel is convenient if you are looking for a hotel with easy and free parking yet easy access to the historical centre of Nimes. However if you are looking for a romantic address, this is not the place for you to stay. Room was comfortable and clean, but small and street is a little noisy. Easy access to the highway if you are travelling. Staff very nice.

We spend one night at this hotel, the staff doesn't speak English, we had two rooms one smelled like cigarette and the ac didn't work. clean beds but small room. Again cheap but you get what you paid... Location is close to main attractions....

The room was small, a bit hard to spread your things if you're going for a long stay; since we were there for only one night, it was fine. The location is good, supermarket closeby, restaurant in the hotel, other facilities nearby. Free outdoor parking. I was in the 3rd floor. Elevator is nice. The stairs and corridor are open, maybe it's cold in the winter, I don't know (I went in the summer).
