“Glorious Galway”
Duty Manager was very helpful after, what could have been a delicate situation. Staff efficient. and very willing to please. Car park has a lift directly to the hotel. Excellent choice of menu especially at breakfast. Large veranda with plenty of tables and chairs easily accessible. Short walking to the main shopping district in Galway.
“Great value”
Excellent location, within walking distance of the Galway town centre. Comfortable room with a good view, pleasant staff, and cheap parking underneath.
“Was pleasantly surprised, hotel was better than i anticipated.”
Hotel was in a great location, literally a 5 minute walk from Eyre Square and Williams St(where all of the pubs/nightlife is located). Free parking was a big plus, not to mention easy and convenient. In general the hotel was very clean as well as nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was alright, food was ok, not a big selection definately not worth the price. I would only eat there if it is included with the price of your room. All in all we were definately happy with our stay at the Radisson and would stay there again should we return to Galway.
“Great Hotel, great location”
Great hotel with great amenities for business travelers as well as tourists. Location is in easy walking distance of Galway City. Lovely spa.
“Galway City Radisson”
Recently stayed two nights with my wife. Can't say enough about the experience. The rooms were spotless and quite comfortable, with wide screen TV and fridge and in room safe, etc. The health spa came as part of the purchase of the two nights and contained every sort of workoput device you would need; from free standing wights to machines, to cardio and etc. There are locker rooms and they are convenient and contain personal lockers ans showers. Only downside is that bathing caps are required by both male and female for the pool (a minor unexpected twist at two Euro a pop). Staffing at the SAS were great and check and check out was smooth. There is an attached garage with free nightly parking and before I forget there is also free WiFi. The restaurant is expensive but classy... and service there is excellent. Also... the hotel is close to town (a five minute walk) and close to major artery leading into the downtown area. Great experience.
“excellent service”
The hotel staff were very helpful and frendly, the breakfast was great, It just was a pleasant stay
“will certainly stay there next time we visit galway”
great hotel, facilities excellent and the best breakfast you could wish for,the choice of food was amazing. food in bar and dining room also very good and value for money. staff very friendly and very helpfull, free underground car park a bonus as you get the lift straight to your own floor.views of loch attalia from front of hotel very nice
“Lovely room”
This hotel is in imaculate condition. Could not fault the room. The bathroom especially was lovely, with not only a bath, but also a completely separate walk in shower. Breakfast was included and was very good. The hotel sits by a river, on the north side of a bridge, close to many ameneties.
“Great hotel for business or pleasure”
Visited Galway recently, just a chance to see some of Ireland and a nice weekend away. Booked t his hotel because it looked lovely and was on offer. Very very glad we did! Huge room, huge bed, everything immaculate. Service was wonderful - we went down on Saturday to check in for our Sunday flights but the business centre computers were busy, as was the concierge. They immediately offered to check in for us, print our boarding cards and have them waiting in our room for us. And they did! Little things like that make a HUGE difference. Breakfast was included and was a fantastic buffet. Worth paying for if it's not included in your room!! Great stay - would recommend for sure.
“Best hotel in Ireland yet. Breakfast included - amazing buffet . Overall 5***** quality.”
We were thrilled with The SAS Radisson in Galway, Ireland. Our room was large and comfortable overlooking the courtyard. The amenities were terrific including two hot tubs (indoor/outdoor) and a huge pool. We enjoyed their bar and the outside views. The hotel is right downtown and we walked everywhere to see the sights. They even set up the trip to the Aran Islands for us. The service was the absolute best we've had in a long time. They even helped me get my iPhone working with their free Wifi. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever on a European trip and they even will cook a dish for you if you ask - they made me a cheese and mushroom omelet. We have never seen such an extensive breakfast buffet in Ireland. The only problem was they put us in a room with a handicapped bathroom. It was a little odd, but it worked out OK. We highly recommend this hotel. We shopped in winter and got a queen bed/breakfast for an amazing price. We were extremely pleased. Free parking, too.
