It would have been all 5's...but we wasted 2 hrs. waiting for our laundry. We had it sent out so we wouldn't waste time in a laundromat. We were told the laundry would be back by 10:00am the next morning. It wasn't.

Furniture, including beds, are worn and need replacing. Cleanliness can be improved (stains and holes in bedding, mold and soap stains in shower, leaking shower divider). Noisy location being downtown but convenient for site seeing. Staff friendly, restaurant/cafe nice, reception area nice and checkin and out went smoothly.

Room was lovely. Clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our only negative is that we were in a room at the front and there was lot of noise.

We loved the location. Easy to get to everything. Great staff. Lives the laundry service. Only thing we would change is that we would have liked a clean fresh coffee mug daily.

The staff were amazing and so helpful. The beds were super comfortable and they had the best pillows. They have a laundry service that was convenient and helpful. They validate for the local parking garages that were easy to get to. The day we checked out we took the train to Dublin and they stored our extra luggage until we returned.

The staff and service was very nice, they provide you with a free parking voucher to park close to the hotel, hotel is in a very convenient location and walkable. Nevertheless, you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring rooms even their tv and guests snoring! the rooms need refurbishments.

Hotel is very accessible to everything as it is right on eyre square. We had a nice room but on the front street which is extremely loud especially on a weekend. We did not sleep much because of this, windows aren’t sound proof at all. The hotel is clean but there are some obvious things being missed. Top of the bed was covered in dust, the lights were dusty and the shower tray was also dirty. our friend stayed down the hall from us in a much more dated room with stain coloured wallpaper and the floor hadn’t been hoovered from the previous guest with adult themed wrappers left on the floor. If I had of been staying with my young family in that room I’d have been appalled. The staff at reception were very friendly upon check in/out. The bar staff were less than welcoming. Upon entering the bar we could see staff were cleaning, meaning the bar was closed, it was our first time in the hotel bar. As we approached the bar to ask for water the waitress looked very annoyed and asked quite abruptly ‘what do you want’ my husband asvised her ‘only water to take to the room’. The staff member looked at us as if we’d asked her to donate blood. Very rude and uncalled for towards anyone, never mind paying guests. I addressed it with her then but I feel a manager needs to address this also. Overall the hotel is fine and well located but I doubt we’ll stay here again with other options available and potentially more clean and welcoming.

Great location with fantastic staff
The location is fantastic, with a short walk to shop street. The hotel bar is lovely and the reception staff were brilliant. The room was comfortable; even though theirs bars around the hotel, we had no issues with noise from the bars. Highly recommend staying here for those going to Galway.

The hotel is nice, very central, quiet, good bed. I didn't have the best room (I have a garbage view) but I didn't care, it was ok with me. Just 1 advice. The restaurant of the hotel needs a lot of work. It is nice, big, very comfortable for guests, but .... the food is sad, very sad. As choices and as quality. Do an effort on that

All about the location
Location is superb, room was satisfactory, nothing special. The glass bathroom door is a bit awkward in a twin room if your staying with a friend. But with such good proximity to everything in Galway town i dont think much time will be spent in the room.

Excellent location, breakfast and staff. Particularly like the staffs serving breakfast, especially a sweet bespectacled young lady who actually proactively serves us hot tea and coffee although we were there early before breakfast hours to catch an early morning bus. Wish there were more hanging racks though. High recommend this hotel.
