“Loved this location”
I needed a beautiful and relaxed retreat after the wild driving in Ireland. This hotel/resort fitted the bill. Would love to go back.
“Wish we'd stayed longer”
This is a wonderful Manor hotel set about an hour from Galway towards the coast. It is very stately and beautifully done, but low key and relaxing too. There are plenty of lovely rooms with lit up fireplaces and cozy coaches, and a wonderful pub room. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The rooms were large and very comfortable - not so elegant that you felt underdressed -but not so casual either. Just right. The grounds are amazing, offering short or long walks through forests, along rivers, ponds, gardens..you feel like this is your estate, and it is very relaxing and beautiful. I would come here again, and stay longer. I did not eat dinner in the restaurant- to stuffy for me -but breakfast was wonderful! Huge, elegant and a breathtaking view.
