“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
GREAT HOTEL, EXCELLENT SERVICE, ZERO COMPLAINTS
“great hotel”
motel had a wonderful breakfast and the room was great.
“Great value for the money”
Stayed overnight before cruise. Hotel very clean and staff courteous. Excellent value. Will use them again the next time we sail from Galveston.
“Newer, clean hotel”
The hotel was clean and in good shape. The room was a good size with a large, clean bathroom, comfortable beds, and a small refrigerator and microwave. The balcony was an added bonus -- small but had enough room for 2 chairs and a nice view of the beach just across the street. Our only complaint is that the indoor, "heated" pool was freezing cold. My two young kids swam despite the cold water. Luckily, I stayed in the hot tub while they swam and they went between the freezing cold pool and brief dips in the hot tub. The breakfast room was clean and well-stocked. There were cereals, milk, juice, toast, waffles, eggs and a few other things. The food was pretty typical of hotel breakfasts -- not bad in any way, but nothing special. Overall, this hotel worked out well for my family of four.
“Country Inn and Suites”
The room was comfortable and quiet. I had reserved two rooms and when I arrived found that they were on 2 different floors which was not going to be convenient. The girl at the front desk had this resolved quickly with two rooms side by side on the first floor.

We arrived early and the staff did everything possible to get us in our room early. They were very helpful with locating places. It was a very nice place. Will stay again.
“Value on the Beach”
The location of the hotel for beach goers is excellent. Our room on the third floor had a view of the beach from the balcony. Guest on the 1st or 2nd floor directly below us would not have had the same view as it would have been obstructed by a very old building in disrepair. The hotel is a modern, spacious facility with all the necessities including, pool, weight room and spa/sauna. The surrounding neighborhood was very old and run down and looked pretty dangerous and rough. The houses were from the early 1900’s and were actually very charming and would be ideal for refurbishing. There are many restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance. I was very satisfied with the value of the hotel so close to the beach.

The owners/operators were efficient at handling the needs of the clients. Very pleasant front desk staff. Rooms were clean, no complaints. Great rate for the Spring Break weekend we stayed and comfortable with children. Within easy walking distance of many restaurants, Joe's Crab Shack, Landrys'seafood, Historic Guido's, steak/seafood everywhere and fast food, major grocery chain store, bikes, kites, sea wear, floaties etc all within a 1-5 block walk. Good police presence on the strand as well. Comparable to any decent Radisson, Hilton Express style hotel.
