“Stayed again on my return trip”

Older motel worthy of its 2 star rating. Rooms were older and well worn, but they were clean and the price was right. Next to nothing for the continental breakfast; a couple of slices of bread and the juice out of the machine wasn't mixed correctly and I had to throw it out. Free internet on the computer in the lobby. All things considered, I stayed again on my return trip back through Gallup. Didn't bother with the breakfast the second time.

“Looks can be deceiving”

We got lost looking for this place. We called up and the man who answered had a thick accent that was hard to discern although he gave accurate directions. Upon arrival, we groaned. The hotel looks miserable from the outside and we were glad we were only staying one night. However, the staff was helpful and it was easy to check in. The room itself was very nice. Much nicer than we had imagined it would be based on the outside and surrounding area. The bed was comfy and the furniture was very nice. The AC never got super cold but it was pretty warm there. On the whole it is a decent hotel room, a good deal for a nights stay.

“Not really impressed”

Hotel looked a little old from the outside but rooms didn't look too bad. The microwave and refrigerator added a little touch although we didn't utilize the microwave. It wasn't too bad yet it wasn't the greatest either!

“ok night stay”

No breakfast, two day old donuts put out along with 1/2 loaf of bread to make toast. Toaster shot bread on to floor, unable to have anything. Room upper lock was broken and the water wasn't good to drink. The good side, the bed was very comfortable and the heater worked. The shower was great and although not many channels on the TV, it was fine to watch.

“Not usual”

Gallup NM is stretched out along I-40 and the BNSF transcontinental railline. Almost all motels are within two blocks, and there was considerable train noise. Choice properties are usually characterized by attractive landscaping. This property's main attraction is a large parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable.

“It was OK”

The room was clean and alright. The trains are noisy but that is Gallup. The breakfast and the internet was practically nonexistent. A sugar donut and a *very* old computer in the tiny lobby doesn't work for me. Don't advertise it if you can't deliver it.

“Not Impressed”

Not the best place to stay. Much less expenessive and nicer places in the area.

“SUB STANDARD”

Upon arrival, the parking lot was nearly empty and un-maintained. Upon entering the room, there was an odor of cleaning fluid making the air un-breathable. There were seedy looking individuals watching us from the 2nd floor walkway. We cancelled our reservation and went to a Howard Johnson Hotel. The manager at Howard Johnson told me that there had been 2 local hospital workers staying at the Rodeway by the month, but moved to Howard Johnson because on 2 occassions, their rooms were entered and drugs and personal property had been taken.

“Worst hotel experience in a long time.”

This hotel was all around just plain bad. I arrived in a snow storm - couldn't wait to get the room warned up. That never happened. The fan just sent out cool air. The blanket on the bed was light and I was freezing, unable to sleep. At 4:00 am I gave up trying to sleep and jumped in the shower to warm up - only to discover the lack of hot water. I packed up and left the room at 5:00 am (hadn't originally planned to leave that early) just to get in my truck to get warm. The television remote did not work. The telephone did not work. The office was shut down and the male manager did not speak understandable english.

“Worst place to stay in Gallup”

there were people partying and making alot of noise all night. The noise of the train was constant. Didn't get enough rest that night.
