The hotel is a little run down. We reported that the arm on the commode was rusted and broken so that our commode wouldn't flush and it was never addressed during our stay, luckily my husband was able to make it functional. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but it was a place to lay out heads and that was what we were looking for...
I loved my stay. The hotel facility was just a bit old (elevator and hallways looked old). Everything else seemed as though it had been remodeled. And there was a lot of places to shop and eat very close by.
I was only in town for a short business trip overnight. Motel 6 was a great place to stay. I have traveled a lot and when I have short unplanned trips they are usually the most expensive and uncomfortable trips I make. This trip though was surprisingly affordable and comfortable. I was impressed with staff efficiency at both check in and check out as well as how clean and up to date the room was. 5 stars all around!!
Conveniently located off I-270, this Motel 6 is 1 mile from downtown Gaithersburg and 22 miles from downtown Washington, DC …More
Everything was fine except TV service...half the channels were not working/ They use Direct TV it went out for hours even before the rain started. If you are going to use direct TV get better equipment.
