Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. We went as a couple for the first time without the kids. Other hotels in the area seemed a bit like retirement homes whereas the Confortel had a mixed clientele
The hotel and the staff were lovely. It's in a quiet location so perfect if you want that but if not hire a car and then it's easy to get everywhere eg the beach, local shop or Marbella. Your high up so its steep, walking may not suit most!
We had a suite which was lovely but a few niggles, not a lot of sink space, 2 small bathroom areas are great, 2 showers and 2 toilets but not a lot of space to put your stuff out. Not awful by any means but go light on toiletries! Great room though, lovely.
The shower upstairs also leaks all over the floor as the shower floor doesn't slant. Just be careful!
Also half board does not include any drinks at all. Not even soft drinks with dinner which we didn't realise. Food in the evenings isn't great either. As with most buffets, food gets cold and not great or tasty food. Having said that though breakfast is great!
There is also not a lot of space around the pools and they get taken up quickly. They were renovating one of the pools when we were there which was a shame and the bar area on the roof top so perhaps this will change when all is open again.
I would def go again but only do b&b. Memorable, lovely and great staff.
Hotel staff brilliant . The lifts were spot on never had to wait more than a few seconds for the lift as we were on the 9th floor . Everything in the hotel you needed. Didn't eat in the hotel because we had family in an apartment a few minutes away . Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
Hotel is situated down a quiet road right in the heart of Fuengirola - a perfect location for the shops, bars and beach and at a very good rate too. It may not overlook the beach but for the price I would not complain and I would stay there again. It was slightly noisy on the first night as we overlooked the entrance corridor but the next few nights were quiet. Room had excellent air-conditioning and a safe to put your things in. The room itself was huge, 2 people given 3 beds and we were very happy. The pool was in the perfect position with sunlight all day. I cannot comment on the food as I didn't eat there. We booked transfers from the hotel to the airport but took the train on the way there - very easy to buy tickets and hotel only a 5 minute walk away from Fuengirola. I would highly recommend.

We've been choosing this hotel for years and every time we find it even more attractive. Helpful staff and we recommend them especially to elder or disabled persons. But overall everyone can find there peace and comfort.
A great hotel in a good location. The staff are very helpful and the place is very clean.
The only negative for me was that the wi-fi is not very good but apart from that will definitely stay here again
Asked for upgrade to newly refurbished room at check- in. At only €16 per night it was well worth it ! Very comfortable beds and clean room. Effective air conditioning in room. Amazing views of beach and rooftop pool on the other building ! Reception staff friendly and polite.
Dining room rather tired and parts of
public areas dated. Breakfast was nothing special although it did have the usual full range available.
The pool area was lovely and getting finishing touches of it's refurbishment which looked very nice from our balcony. We only tried the pool area once but it was particularly windy so gave up early !
I think that if the refurbishment continues throughout the hotel it will be fabulous !!!!!
Stay didn't start well as our room wasn't available until after 3pm. After check in room was nice and clean, fairly basic but inexpensive. Good location for nice range of restaurants. Great accessibility for those with limited mobility.

Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
