The hotel is under construction, which sums up the experience. Water was dripping in the hall way and in the toilet in my room. Had to ask for towels to be provided in room on day 1. No cleaning of room took place on at least one day. Staff were friendly and helpful, which was the saving grace.

It could be a nice hotel, but first internet was very bad, slow and unstable, then the sink drain of my bathroom was not working and finally the bed was noisy and not confortable

Well located better for family than business trips
Hotel is well located. Rooms are humid and their smells also reflects French Guyane’s humidity. Overall ok hotel for price. Breakfast is ok.

The only reasonable hotel.
Cayenne does not boast any good hotels. Montabo, former Novotel, is probably the best available one. Is it also the only hotel situated next to the beach. Staff are friendly, facility is pleasant. Food is good.

It was OK have not stayed at other hotels in this country to compare it too. If you compare it to the standard US hotel it is a couple of standard deviations off the norm. Nothing wrong per se just setting the grounds because I need to add more words.

One day at the time
when we checked in at 3 in the morning we had a most friendly host. Mr. Allan Toussaint, as they expected us much later, he offered us a room to sleep, although the room wasn't cleaned yet. the day receptionists were not friendly at all, we even thought they were quite impolite. I did expect a little more of the breakfast served (for the price paid)

I had no car and found the hotel far from the center of Cayenne. There is a beach close to the hotel that is not fantastic... The food and the service are very good. Overall, a good address for people with a vehicle because taxis are very expensive and dificult to find. Some taxis drivers are incompetent and are trying to take advantage of tourists.

L'établissement est dans un etat catastrophique que ca soit structures intérieures et extérieures. L'étage et ma chambre sentaient l'ammoniaque, même mes affaires en étaient imprégnées a mon retour.

J'ai passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel et fus très surprise de la qualité de la prestation étant donné le prix. Concernant la chambre, elle était peu lumineuse étant donné la petite fenêtre, le lit est semblable à un clic clac, et les WC étaient sales, il aurait été utile de remplacer la lunette jaunie. Sans oublier la grille de ventilation pleine de poussière... Le petit déjeuner n'était pas du tout celui de la photo, l'offre y est beaucoup plus faible et de qualité médiocre.. Et la salle de sport, possède des machines défectueuses et pleines de rouille. Le seul point positif reste le diner, les plats proposés étaient délicieux !

Séjour décevant. La prestation n'est pas du tout au niveau du prix payé et les 4 étoiles sont dur à imaginer dans cet établissement bien vieillissant. Une forte odeur dans la chambre, pas d'eau chaude durant la moitié du séjour, un service beaucoup trop lent au restaurant même selon les standards guyanais (2h d'attente pour une salade!). Néanmoins le cadre est agréable et le personnel plutôt sympatique
