“Can't wait to go back!!!”

I had a great time! The hotel accommodatins and staff were great and friendly. The resort is great. Everything you need to keep you busy and entertained during the day is right there on the property. The free shuttle to the grocery store and into Port Lacaya was great! The beach is absolutely beautiful. I've stayed at other resorts in Freeport, but I will return to Island Seas.

“Nice Beach”

Smaller complex - but very nice people & much nicer beach area than I expected. Very easy to relax - since everything was so simple, which was nice for a family - kids could hang out & still be easily monitored by parents. Also rooms had full kitchens for snacking and were spacious.

“Can't Wait to go back”

Hotel was much better than I expected. The hotel room was big and contained a full kitchen and living room. It is convenietly located on beach and had a lot of activties on the resort. Restaurant and activities were pretty expensive though. However we had a great relaxing week at this resort!! I would definately go back.

“Best Beach in the Bahamas”

The secluded beach is beautiful and the pool deck is spacious and wraps around a free form pool complete with waterfall. The beach is large, white and the water is clean. The condos were large and comfortable, especially for the price. Condos were cleaned everyday. Full kitchens with appliances, utensils, and surprising extras. Everything one would need to make homeade meals. We decided to save money and time by buying groceries and eating in the condo fairly often. Food in the pool grill is decent and not as expensive as one would expect. The only downfall was that to get into town for shopping and nightlife, one must take a cab. It's about 15 dollars but they are available all hours. Also, wait and drink at the pool bar during happy hour (4-6) as drinks are two for one. So two yummy frozen pina coladas for 7 bucks instead of just one. Or visit the liquor store in town and drink your own cocktails for much cheaper.

“Nice little escape from the working world.”

Went there with my wife,which was around 19 weeks pregnate,and had a very nice time. The condo was on the marina side but nice and roomy. The pool and the beach were also very relaxing and the overall hotel setup was better than expected. We do plan to go back.

“Relaxing location”

We enjoyed our one night stay at Island Seas. Beautiful beach, the sunset was fantastic. The room suites are nicely done - and nicely kept, and a very decent price. It is a timeshare resort, but we didn't get any sales pitch while on location. They are in the process of building a new restaurant, which impacts the room view right now, but there was no other construction disturbance.

“Lack of towels”

The resort was very nice and the room quite nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the resort. However, there was an issue with a lack of towels. We asked for bath towels a few times the first day and at least a couple of days afterward. Then there was a lack of face clothes and/or bath towels. Finally, we bought some face cloths from a local store. We really did not want to hear any excuses. When we were promised that the towels would be forthcoming, they did not deliver as promised.

“Had a nice time, The weather was great!”

When I checked in I was placed in a room across the street from the beach. The timeshare people get to stay on the beachside. They also charged me a deposit fee on the room which they say will be removed if my room is in good shape. It better be. Also charged me for taxes and surcharges which will not be removed from my credit card. Over all my stay was good. Just a few hidden fees. The motel was clean, the food good, and Kenny the bartender, makes a GOOD drink. Motel is about 2 miles from Port Lucaya, that is where more is happening, more restaurants and bars. I was here to relax so I didn't care about being away from things. I would stay here again.

“Worn-out hotel”

Staff was friendly, there was a decent beach and pool area. Hotel is part of a timeshare resort so you will be invited to a presentation the day after arriving, about 90 minutes, but there is no pressure if you decide not to go. As noted in other reviews, this hotel has seen better days, but for the price it isn't bad. The room we had was on the beach side, and was a full suite - living room, dining room, kitchen and two balconies. Unit air conditioners worked well. There is some limited shuttle service available to other destinations. Also, there is free wi-fi outside near the pool area.
