Island dance music is offered next to the pool several evenings a week. Guests of Island Palm Resort can check e-mail at a lobby computer with a high-speed connection (surcharge). Rental motor scooters for use around the Freeport area are available outside the lobby.

Island Palm Resort offers 143 air-conditioned guestrooms in four three-story buildings with exterior corridors (no elevators). Rooms at this Freeport hotel include tile floors, rattan furniture, and colorful floral fabrics. Some units have kitchens or kitchenettes.

Hearts of Palm Restaurant - Offers breakfast and dinner to guests and the public. Food selection is a blend of American and Bahamian cuisine.
Hibiscus Pool Bar - Casual, open-air, poolside spot serving lunch. Lunch choices may include conch fritters, conch chowder, cracked (fried) conch, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Beer and tropical drinks are served all day.
Recreation
A courtyard includes an L-shaped pool measuring 40 feet on the long side, a shuffleboard court, and a Ping-Pong table. Complimentary shuttles operate mornings and afternoons to a partner property, Island Seas Resort, 2.5 miles away, where guests are permitted to use a 400-yard beach, a 150-foot-long freeform pool, and 7- and 8-person spa tubs. Island Seas also includes a tennis court (surcharge), shuffleboard, badminton, and horseshoes, as well as a water-sports center that rents personal watercraft and snorkeling gear and offers parasailing, banana-boat rides, deep-sea fishing, reef fishing, glass-bottom boat trips, and snorkeling and sunset cruises.

“Great Hotel”
The hotel was really comfortable and the staff were all great!
“Very very nice hotel”
I was there for a short time of three (3) nights, but I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was very nice, and when i asked questions, they responded nicely and effectively. I also enjoyed the shuttle service they provided to their sister hotel, Island Seas Resort. Without this, then I would not have enjoyed my stay there as much. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Thank You!
“inexpensive and excellent”
excellent in every way. a bit far from the beach, but has a free shuttle. if that schedule doesn't work for you, the motel has its own drivers, who will take you anywhere you wish to go for a small charge.

This motel is close to town and airport and is clean and very quiet. Staff very easy to get along with and very friendly. Would stay there again.

“Thoroughly Satisfied”
I was very impressed with this hotel. We booked it because we didn't plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel, we just wanted to sleep there, but we ended up spending a lot of time at the pool/bar area. It was very clean and the people were very friendly and very willing to answer all questions we had. I would definantly stay there again!
“So worth it for the price!”
Ignore most of these negative reviews. The hotel is quite nice. I would equate it to a Best Western in the states. Not glamorous, but comfortable. They even have a pool and bar! The pool is very clean. And the give you free transportation to the beach and Lucaya. The check in process can be tedious, especially if you come from the Discovery Cruise. Staying here is about a third the price of the resorts. Your basically yin Downtown Freeport. Some people describe it as 'depressed' but I thought it was fine. There is a bank across the street and also a little cafe in the shopping center katty corner that had nice breakfast and coffee. Some hotel guest did complain to us that they found lizards in their room. I did see a baby lizard at one point, but you are on a tropical island so there are little creatures everywhere. I would stay again!
