“Great staff”
This hotel was perfect for walking to and from the rail station. As all rail station neighborhoods it looked a little run down but it was not dangerous. The room was spacious and very clean. Our Internet connection only worked in the lobby for free. It was a short distance to the subway. We liked the room decor. Our only complaint is that we don't like to pay for the Internet in the room. The staff was very professional and helpful.
“Very comfortable & modern”
We were very impressed with the modern state of the room. Shower was a bit on the small size but no problems. Location unfortunately if you have children was opposite a sex shop, but didn't see any sleezy people around.
“Totally impressed”
From the Hauptbannhoff, it was a short hop and skip to the Victoria. The day we arrived the fruit, meat and wine stalls were out on the street giving Kaiserstrausse a festive feel.The hotel entrance was small but you could anticipate a hotel of finer living. We were not disappointed. Our room on the fourth floor was huge with a balcony that overlooked the street. The bed was luxurious but like most of the beds in the other German hotels we encountered, they were two king singles pushed together. A minor detail. Spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely. I have never been disappointed with any of Expedia's choice of hotels and this was no exception.
“Nice hotel, good price, would go back”
The hotel is in good conditions. My room wasn't big, but clean and modernly furnished. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the area, restaurants etc. The location is convenient in that it is close to everything. However, the area is a bit shady. I can't say that I felt secure when the night fell. I had a good stay and would consider the location again, if I was in town.
“Super Hotel at a great nightly rate”
Very friendly staff, great location and in walking distance to all attractions, the River Maine and shopping district. Small but very clean and modern rooms and bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet. As we had to be at the airport at 5am on our last morning, the front desk staff even prepared us a "lunch baggie" with breakfast items, what a great gesture and totally exceeded my expectations. Would stay here again any time.
“Clean, modern and close to the station”
After two ordinary stays in overpriced accommodation in France this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is within walking distance of the main station even for two older travellers with too much luggage. Ignoring the sex shop over the road and the fact it is about two streets from the better and interesting part of town this hotel is extremely good value. Our room was clean, modern, comfortable, quiet and a good size. The staff spoke excellent English and were extremely obliging. If only all three star hotels were like this.
“convenient. small rooms. clean.”
Coveniently located near rail system. Took rail from airport to stop, only 2 block walk. Rooms are small, but we did not plan on spending anytime in room, spent all day seeing sights.
“Great Service but small rooms”
The service at the Victoria was amazing, from arranging cabs and tours to checking in and out, they were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were a bit small however.
“Very Happy With Victoria Hotel”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Victoria Hotel. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were in very good condition. Good water pressure in the shower. Maid service was excellent. I looked forward to the breakfast each morning which provided a great assortment of eggs, cereals, breads, coffee and juices. A computer in the lobby provided free internet access. The hotel has a great location just a few blocks from the Frankfurt rail station and convenient to the museums on the south side of the River Main and the financial district, shops and old town area on the north side. I definitely would stay here again.
“Great value.”
We picked this hotel as we had an overnight in Frankfurt and the hotel is a very close walk from the main train station. Hotel renovated a year ago and is very clean and comfortable. An excellent hot and cold buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel close to major attractions.
