“A Good Stay--As Usual”

I have stayed at the National several times and find it consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.

“Great hotel for first time to Frankfurt!”

This was a great hotel! It was right next to the Hauptbahnhof so anywhere you went it was pretty easy to navigate back. There is an internet cafe across the street and there are a few bars and restaurants surrounding it. The service was great and everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you've never traveled around Frankfurt before or if you're looking for somewhere to stay for the weekend!

“A great hotel by the main train station”

This is my second stay at this hotel. It is a great value with great service, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is also a good deal in a pleasant and sunny room. There is wireless Internet access at a reasonable cost but two computers in the lobby are free. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is close to the red light district. I have stayed here with my wife and we went to a good German restaurant close by as well as on a walking trip to downtown and we never noticed.

“Good stopover choice!”

Convenient (very short walk from main train station, which can be reached easily and inexpensively from FRA), clean (spotless, older hotel with modern renovations), and chic (nice tea service and free internet in lobby)! Exhausted after flying from Asia, it helped me recover nicely for the next long flight. Extremely glad I booked a Frankfurt hotel ... this one worked very well.

I found the staff to be very helpful and kind. There was a homey comfortable feeling. I felt safe as a single woman. I would definitely return for future stay.

Frankfurt is a metro area of Germany, expect to travel out of area for sites (e.g. Rhine River, castles, beauty). Staff at National very helpful and friendly; felt safe area even though short distance from red light district. Loved little bar/italian restaurant down from the National. Family owned friendly and great food! For coffee lovers the sister hotel attached to National has affordable cups of coffee. Hotel very clean, quiet, comfortable! Travel alot and love the National. Highly recommend!

“Good deal for the perfect location!”

Hotel located just one block from the main railway station. Room very clean, remodeled, with a free mini-bar. Nice breakfast also included in price. Very polite staff. Carpet in the hallway on the 4th floor was kind of ugly, but what the heck!
