“Excellent location, reliable & friendly service”

I stay at the Hotel Friedberger Warte everytime I'm in Frankfurt. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and the location is excellent if you're going to the US Embassy.

“Impressed”

Slightly out of Frankfurt but close to buses. Train within walking distance, but not if carrying heavy luggage. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent buffet breakfast. Room quite comfortable.

“Great hotel, clean and comfortable”

We spent one night in this hotel and enjoyed it. The hotel is quite new, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the modern look of the bathrooms and the central air conditioning in the rooms.

“Memory Lane”

This is a great location in Frankfurt that feels suburban, yet you have access to bus and subway lines to get you downtown to the hauptbahnhof and to the airport. The U5 subway line has a stop at Giessener Strasse which is about three blocks from the hotel. For those Americans that worked with the US Army at the 97th General Hospital prior to its closing, much has changed, but it is nevertheless a trip down memory lane. Friederberger Warte Restaurant, across the street, is an authentic Biergarten serving regional dishes; the atmosphere is quintessential Gemuetlichkeit. Forno D'Oro is a great Italian restaurant a block and half away. The Huth Park, a large public park is not too far away and makes for a nice long walk. English is spoken at the hotel. There is a nice breakfast buffet every morning. The rooms are clean, modern and reasonably comfortable. The bathrooms are nice. Check-in is at 3 pm and they will store you luggage if you arrive early. Wi-Fi is available for 12 Euros for 24 hours.

“Efficient, clean and functional”

A seemingly well run hotel with good room; I asked for a rear facing roon so this was quiet. Had to pay for Internet access which was disappointing. Breakfast buffet was good and easily avialable. Hotel is out of Frankfurt and 7 minutes walk from U Bahn; taxis didn't seem easy to get.

“Very good hotel”

The location was very good--a short bus ride to the shopping center of Frankfurt. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and satisfying.

“Great Location”

I stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Frankfurt. It is in a great location, very close to the US Embassy. The staff are courteous and the rooms are nice and comfortable.

“Will go back on our next visit to Germany”

After a long 9 and a half hour flight, the room was everything we needed. Everything was clean and new. Ask for extra pillows as hotel pillows in Germany are square and flat compared to North American pillows. Air Conditioning is quiet and if you are not a fan of AC, windows open. Washrooms are large and functional. Some include a very long tub and others a glassed in shower. Breakfast is included and offers a great selection and variety of good food. All in all, we will go back to that hotel when we return to Germany. It is not located directly downtown but to my husband and I, that is a plus since we prefer to stay in a quieter area.

“Nice hotel near American Consulate”

This is a nice hotel about 10 mins away from Frankfurt's downtown. It is quiet place right across the street from the American Consulate (reason we went there). Good breakfast buffet included but only until 10am, few social places or entertainment for guests. Beds could use an upgrade. It has wireless Internet but you have to pay for it.
