“I would go back BUT...”

I thought the hotel was in an excellent location. Staff were friendly. The Superior room was good - so I do wonder what a Classic room would be like... The thing that let the whole experience down was when I was checking out. I had been to the hotel bar 3 times and charged all the bills to my room. I never used the mini bar - in fact, I didn't even know there was one until 20 minutes before I checked out! I ordered room service once which was breakfast on my last day as check out is midday. I was correctly charged for the hotel bar, incorrectly charged for the mini bar I never used and incorrectly charged for breakfast £ times - including the day I checked in at 15:30 yet breakfast is only served from 06:00 - 10:30. The mini bar was removed from my bill, but I ended up paying for 3 breakfasts rather than one. When I called the hotel from the airport, they expected me to take a cab all the way back to sort the problem out! Quite rightly, I told them they customers should not have to pay for their assumptions. They just assumed I'd be using the mini bar. They just assumed I'd be having breakfast every morning. I have been told I will get a refund for the extra charge.
