“A Really Good Choice”
We reserved 2 rooms for our three day mid-April visit to the Falls. When we arrived, we were extremely pleased with our choice. The villas (containing approx. 6 or 8 rooms each) are virtually new, with more under construction. Very clean and modern with all of the amenities that we have become accustomed to in Canada. It has a large pool area with lots of deck space that we took advantage of, and although we didn't play a round of golf, we did shoot off a couple of buckets of balls at the driving range. A buffet breakfast at the dining room was included in the room rate. and we also ate supper there one night - very good and reasonably priced. The front desk staff provided us with a late check-out time, and they also arranged a taxi to the Argentina side to view the falls - fabulous!
“Wish we'd stayed an extra night”
From check in to check out it was a seamless experience. The front desk staff are professional and very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had all the amenities one would need. The shower pressure was great and beds were comfortable. I found it to be a quiet and relaxing place to stay and enjoyed the pool area and the onsite restaurant that served a good variety of food for dinner and breakfast. We (myself and two friends) only stayed one night and wish we'd stayed at least another night. Although I was with two friends i'd especially recommend this place to couples and families that want a relaxing holiday by the pool and where there isn't too much sightseeing involved (although the Iguassu Falls are must!).
“Nature wonder !!!”
It´s simple !! You have to visit Iguaçu falls, it´s a marvel !!!
“A comfortable hideaway”
This resorts has rooms in several small buildings set in a green area, about 100m away from the reception building. Rooms are weel kept, nicely furnished and comfortable. Wi-Fi was reliable and very fast. I always found a member of staff who could speak English and they have been very helpful. when needed, I had a taxi waiting for me in fron the reception. Meals were superb. breakfast had a large variety and was served in a beautiful large room upstairs. I had dinner in the small restaurant on the ground floor and it was brilliant. A small restaurant, with a cozy environment and helpful waiters. Food was very good too. The hotel is positioned somewhat away from the main road going to the waterfalls, but this makes it quiter. Although it is very close to the airport, i was never bothered by airplane noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Adequate for the destination”
A rather quaint sort of property Located on a golf coarse. A golf cart transported you from your room to buildings for dinning, reception, gift shop, etc. Breakast was acceptable buffet. Had one dinner there which was satisfactory. Too remote for a single traveler and had the expense of a taxi just to go to a bank. Two out of three tours book through the on site agency were very unsatisfactory. The last one caused me to miss my flight to Sau Palau. Would not use that service again.
“Inconvenient”
Whilst the standard of this hotel wasn't bad with nice clean rooms, cable TV and a pretty impressive reception building (that houses restaurants, a bar, computers with free internet and an outside verandah), there were many drawbacks: Firstly, it's a resort so all the rooms are located in villas. If you're unlucky, as we were, you have to walk ten minutes to get from the villa to the reception. Of course, it's then another 10 minutes' walk back. It's possible to call and ask the staff to send one of their people carriers to get you, but by the time it comes, you may as well have walked, plus most of the staff (about 95%) do not speak any English so don't understand what you're saying. The lack of English caused a few problems for us and surprised me as it's a hotel after all. There's also a 20 minute walk to get in and out of the resort. Again, you can ask for a ride, but there's the wait that comes with it. As there are no grocery shops on site, you are restricted to the mini-bar and the hotel's onsite restaurants for food and water, which proved expensive and not the best quality, although the buffet breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of cereals, breads, pastries, hot food, cheese and meats, fresh pancakes and waffles, fruit, juices etc. Finally, rainy day activities are slightly limited as the pool is outdoors (not heated), though there's an indoor pool table and a ping-pong table. Overall, it just felt too isolated and inconvenient.
