“needs extensive renovation”

Although the room was clean and the breakfast adequate, we would not recommend this hotel to others. Many of the furnishings were well past their best. The worst was a strong smell of mold in the room. The climate in Fort Myers must make mold a difficult problem, but something must be done to remedy the problem.

“Great value for entry level accomodations”

The hotel does have some maintenance issues but is a great value and in a great location. They are extremely strict with the check out time.

“Not What I Expected.”

Came into the room and the musty dampness smell was very bad, had to use some of my spray body colognes to help ease the odor, after second day, maybe due to having the A/C running non-stop and at a very cold setting smell went away or we got used to it.

“Watch Out”

Overall, the hotel was fine. They require a photo ID that they xerox when you arrive. Make sure that you get your photo ID back. They forgot to give it back to me and I didn't notice until I was at the airport.

“Disappointing, might be ok for just one night”

We booked this hotel for just one night as we did not want to spend that much. Even though its a budget place, we have been quite disappointed. The rooms are not clean and need renovation. The staff was ok, but not friendly. My girlfriend had some issues with safety, due to the motels surrounding area. Staying there for one night is ok, but I would not recommend it. Moreover, pictures seem to be from the last century.

“Disappointing experience”

This hotel needs an update badly. It is on a noisy road, and also in a flight path for a small airport, so small planes were flying over constantly. Noisy A/C, people in the next room screaming and swearing at each other one night and police were called, not anywhere near enough tables and chairs for all the people trying to eat at the breakfast buffet...needs some revamping for sure!!

“Super8 not so Super”

Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet; did not allow pets. This is a definite plus as we just left a competing hotel that after checking in discovered dogs were abundant and loud barking all night. Front desk clerk (female) was very rude and abrupt. Not helpful in any way. Breakfast was disappointing.

“OK”

Old building that needs more upkeep, but that was reflected in the price. Would probably choose something else next time

“Worth the price”

Stayed for spring training with my son. It's a Super8 so it isn't meant to be the most luxurious hotel but I felt it was worth the price I paid. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have free internet at night so I could keep up with work. I would try to figure out the park and ride on the beach busses rather than driving.

“Super 8 Fort Myers”

It was OK the bed was firm, but the pillows were wafer thin and hard as rocks. Our VERIFIED request for a ground floor handicap room was met with a 3rd floor room, that I was able to get moved to the 2nd floor "kinda close to the elevator", after explaining what the confirmation e-mail contained. It was done without any grief, but we were not entirely pleased.
