The Outrigger Beach Resort is a casual tropical resort located on a white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Directly across the street is a movie theatre, convenience store, several restaurants, and a day spa for your complete resort experience.
Lovers Key State Park, Key West Express, the center of Fort Myers Beach, and Town Square are all within five miles. Transportation for Fort Myers Beach attractions is available onboard Lee Beach Trollee.
The resort features a fresh water outdoor pool overlooking the beach, and a large sundeck with sun loungers, as well as tiki topped tables. An open air Tiki Bar, picnic and grill area, and a casual Cafe serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Charley's Boathouse Grill - Serves steak and seafood. Specialties include prime rib, grilled fish, and a 55-item salad bar.
Recreation
Outrigger Beach Resort provides a variety of water sports and has an outdoor pool and sundeck that face the Gulf of Mexico. Children's activities are offered. Beach volleyball is provided on the grounds, and bicycle rentals are available on the property. Cabanas are provided for a surcharge, and lounge chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas are complimentary. Trolley service (50 cents) is available to Fort Myers Beach.
Parasailing, catamaran sailing, and boating are available on the beach. Kayaking and ecotours can be found nearby, and table tennis is on site. The Bay Beach Golf Club is about a mile away, for driving range and miniature golf.

“Enjoyed our short stay.”
Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. Quaint. Beautiful beach. Clean, reasonably priced, but extremely hard mattress.
“The Best Leisure Vacation Spot Ever”
We had a blast!! The gulf view was beautiful from our room. The Deckside Cafe had outstanding food and prices are great!! The Tiki Bar had the best daily live entertainment and drink specials ever! The bartenders and staff are very kind and treated us like Queens. Everything was so clean and quiet. We have nothing negative to say. "Everything was 100% Excelent!!! I will be returning in about 8 weeks and can hardly wait!!!!!

“Great Place”
I would highly recomend the Outrigger. The facility has a great staff and catered to our every need. There is a small Cafe on the property that serves GREAT food at a reasonable price. The beach at the Outrigger seem to be the nicest for miles. They also have a customer sevice desk by the beach which can help advise you on tours and places of interest. “The best place to veg out”
The hotel has everything you need. We checked in on Saturday and did not leave the complex until we checked out on Monday. The hotel has everything you need. Pool, huge white sandy beach, outside tike bar, huge deck with plenty of shade, an a full service restaurant that serves excellent food
“Quiet, Clean, Comfortable Place to Stay”
Hotel is away from "time square" which is big plus. The beach area is not crowded at all and has the feel of a private beach resort. Great value and would recommend to others.

“Nice place to stay if you love the beach”
The outrigger was great. No problem with check in or check out. The place has a computer to use and they have wifi. you can make a reservation for the cmputer and time is limited to 30 minutes. Rooms are ample and have a safe. Make sure you don't lock the key in it though. There is a 7 eleven across the street. They give you a 10% off at a restaurant across the street. They had live music a few nights a week. The pool is nice and clean. The beaches are clean. The sunsets are beautiful. The Tiki bar is nice, but they do need more than one bartender. The maids were great, especially Martha. Not really located near anything close, but they do have activities at the resort. They do have refrigerators in the room. If you stay try to get an oceanview, we got resort view. It is family oriented. we stayed for 7 nights and I was only awoken once by a loudmouth next door. The showers are great, water was hot and stream was good. They have a game room which we did not utilize, but it was available. There was a coin operated laundry open 8am-10pm. Overall if you're a beach person it is a lovely place. If you like to sightsee, you will have to drive and the drive to the city is far. There is a beach trolley that takes you up and down the main drag. Overall I was satisfied with the place.
“Perfect Vacation!”
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable and relaxing. It had all the ammenities but was not ritzy or uptight. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. It's away from the action. But if you want the hustle and bustle, it's just a few minutes away by trolley. The pool, sundeck, Tiki Bar area is a great place to hang out. All the staff and even the other guests are like a big family. A most enjoyable stay.

Nice staff. Great beach. Convenient location (close enough but not too close to the downtown Fort Myers Beach area).
