Lien and Pat were great hosts and the location was close to everything. The pool area and the deck overlooking the canal were beautiful and quite relaxing especially at night. We would definitely come back here if we are in the Ft Myers area in the future.

Later on you requested a refund or give you accommodates credit for the future. I booked this for 3 people. Arrived and they tried telling me it was for only 2. Wanted me to pay more. I told them no. They told me that they “overbooked” and we had to move into a new unit after our 2nd night. So we had to pack up our stuff and move. Then the toilet seat was broke in this unit, Asked if I could check out late, they said no. People were coming in ( but made me move because they allowed a family to stay one night and messed up our reservation). Asked if we could keep car parked so we could walk to beach, told me I could but only for a short time. This is ironic because when we got there, our parking spot wasn’t open because previous people stayed longer and were in our designated parking spot. Was the place nice? Yes. It’s off the path so it’s quiet but... We had to move and had a broken toilet seat and weren’t given anything for this. It’s all about the money and get as many people in their units.

We are sorry that you ran in some uncomfortable situation. March is very busy month on the island and sometimes reservations come in with requests that are hard to accommodate at times. With the unknown 3rd person on your reservation, we did move you to the 2 beds unit so it would be more comfortable for you. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Cool little hotel. Location couldn't be more perfect. You don't need to rent a car. Everything within walking distance. Not fancy by any means, but exactly what you need. The only drawback in my opinion was the mattress for both beds in my room needed to be updated. I'd stay here again if I go back to Fort Meyer's Beach. Fair value compared to what I saw other places charging & that's why I chose the place to begin with. Two very nice pools with ample seating, sun umbrellas, & lounge chairs.

We could not ask for more on our stay. First off the location is ideal and close to everything. The unit was clean and well stocked with all your needs. The grounds and pool areas feel like your own tropical retreat! We will be back!!

Awesome location. Close to the city center. 2 nice pools. Staff was very nice. Only 6 rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

We came down from Ohio for a quick weekend stay and loved this little place! The owners were very friendly and attentive and our room was perfect- nothing super fancy but was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Wished we could have stayed for a couple more days!

Manatee Bay Inn
The hotel has a beautiful view. A very peaceful stay. Much more intimate experience than the large beach front or hotel chain. The staff was friendly and attentive. This hotel has a great location with plenty of dining choices and just a couple blocks from the Time Square, fishing pier and beach.

This was our first time to this hotel. Wasn't sure what to expect. Turned out to be a gem! Rooms were clean, nice size and beautiful view of a waterway and palm trees, pelican nests from our balcony. Hotel staff were incredibly nice, breakfast was just great and had bagels, toast, fresh fruit, cereal and drinks. Was only a few blocks from beach and many shops, eateries. Just far enough to be out of the noise. Loved it!

Great inn and location
Just returned from 5 days at the Manatee Bay Inn. The location could not have been better. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. pool and dock area overlook the inland waterway. wonderful spot to sit in the afternoon with a book and a glass of wine. So relaxing. Staff and owners were wonderful! Highly recommend this inn and it does deserve more than the 2.5 stars it is rated.

This was our first stay at Manatee Bay Inn and will definately return! Loved it and it's location in downtown Fort Myers Beach. We rented a car to drive from the airport, but never used it once we arrived at the Inn. Walked every night to dinner. Loved "Nervous Nellies" on the intercoastal.

Make Your Reservation Early for the Main Bed and Breakfast
The location is great, the people were very friendly, but we were just disappointed that we were not staying in what the web site and brochure pictures portray. They placed us in an apartment across the street from where the breakfast was served, where the pools were located, and where the bay was located. So we had no view, we had people walking overhead in the apartment above, industrial trucks each morning waking us up, and a squeaky futon when we requested two queen beds. If you want to stay in the main bed and breakfast, get your reservation in early.

Nice, quiet, well kept lodging!
The Manatee Bay Inn is a quiet, well kept and nicely landscaped property. I stayed for 7 nights in December, 2009. The inn is very close to restaurants, stores, and the beach. There are two swimming pools; one is heated. The room was nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Having a full kitchen in the room was a great! I walked to Topps (grocery store) a few times and managed to fill my fridge with all my favourite foods. The daily continental breakfast was adequate for starting the day though I also prepared breakfast in my room a few times. Fort Myers Beach is a wide beach with fine, white sand and plenty of seashells. There are mostly souvenir stores on the island so to do some serious shopping one needs an automobile. I took one trip to Edison Mall which has a Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penney and many other stores. Overall, the Manatee Bay Inn offers great value for the money. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in Fort Myers Beach the MB Inn can't be beat!

Wonderful!
My boyfriend and I came and stayed here for our two year anniversary and it was awesome! The room was clean, tidy and very affordable. It is in walking distance to everywhere in Fort Myers Beach which makes your vacation even easier. The staff is available anytime 24/7 with the ring if a door bell and they are always very friendly! We have definitely found our favorite vacation spot! Oh and make sure you check out the little pizza shop at the end of the street...it's delicious and the people running it are so nice!

We had two stays here and enjoyed it thouroughly.A little oasis but very close to all the action!
The hotel offers comfortable accomodation at a very affordable price.Just six rooms/suites all overlooking a small bay.Free internet access which is good.Basic breakfast-cereals and fruit but all nicely put out.The hotel proprioters are both very accessible,friendly and helpfull.

Ett underbart ställe pool direkt utanför vår dörr. Bra frukost inga varma rätter. Lungt ställe som ligger alldeles intill resturanger och affärer. 5 min promenad till strand. Parkering gratis precis utanför. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Kan varmt rekommenderas om man vill ha ett avkopplande boende men ändå nära till allt.

Unterkunft war ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen. Leider nur ein Queensbett und klappsofa in der Unterkunft. Wir waren dort 5 Nächte, nach 3 Nächten mussten wir das Zimmer wechseln, der Grund wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt. Das Ärgerliche war, dass das neue Zimmer sehr klein war und somit das Klappsofa nicht benutzt werden konnte. Mein Sohn (1,95 m groß) und ich mussten uns dann ein Oueensbett teilen, war nicht so gut. Das Personal war sehr höflich. Frühstück sehr einseitig.

Personligt och rymligt. Rent och fräscht. Tyst. Underbar utsikt från balkongen utöver "bukten". Stort och fräscht badrum. Trevliga hjälpsamma ägare. En god och lagom stor frukost, det fanns bröd, ost, skinka, youghurt, ägg, kaffe, te och juice, skuren frukt och även munkar för den som ville. Det känndes mer som att vara hemma hos någon, på ett positivt sätt. Toppen med parkeringen utanför dörren. Poolen var fin och solplatserna härliga.

Wir hatten einen sehr sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Manatee Bay Inn! Die Betreiber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation sehr einfach in Muttersprache! Unser kleines Appartement war sehr schön eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt inkl. voll ausgestatteter Küche. das gesamte Hotel ist super Toll gelegen, sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße und trotzdem nur 200m von der "flanier-Meile" entfernt. Die Aussicht in den kleinen "Hafen" ist toll. Insgesamt passt die Anlage perfekt in die Umgebung. Kleine Gebäude, alles sehr familiär. Frühstück war auch ganz ordentlich. Wir würden jede Zeit wiederkommen!

Ein kleines Paradies mit traumhafter Lage
Unser Aufenthalt im Manatee Bay Inn war einfach spitze. Die Besitzer sowie das Personal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir fühlten uns von Anfang an gut aufgehoben. Das Appartement war sehr sauber und hatte eine eigene Küche mit allem was man braucht, so dass wir uns auch hin und wieder selbst versorgen konnten. Einfach klasse. Über die Terrasse ging es direkt zum Pool und dem Bootssteg mit den Sonnenliegen und angrenzender Lagune. Was für eine tolle Aussicht; wir haben sogar Manatees beobachten können. Zum endlosen, weißen Sandstrand läuft man keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß und das Angebot an Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe ist sehr groß. Auch kleinere Supermärkte und verschiedene Shops sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir sind absolut zufrieden und können das Manatee Bay Inn nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an Connie, Axel, Kerstin und Valerie für den unvergesslichen Urlaub :)
