“Great place to stay - awesome rate with Expedia”

Great staff - everyone is helpful and friendly. Lovely room - just upgraded sink and vanity areas in all the bathrooms. Lovely size room, quiet, all amenities. Treated myself to a massage at the in-house spa - great! Good restaurant, varied menu. Car rental office on site. Well maintained. Fruit baskets in lobby as well as cookies which is a nice touch. Usually fires going in all the fireplaces so makes for a cozy, welcoming environment.

“Fort Mac's best”

This is Fort Mac's best hotel in my opinion. I travel to the city often and have stayed at various hotels in the area. Although the price of the Sawridge is on the high side, it has a number of pluses that make the hotel worthwhile. The service is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the dining room and buffet is consistently tasty.

“Great Choice for Fort McMurray!”

All of the hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurant and lounge food was also very good. Perhaps the only negative comment I can make is that the hotel carpets and some of the walls/doors did show wear and tear and could definitely use some updating. (I do recognize that most of the clientele may be from the oil industry so the hotel may be subject to more work boots and rougher treatment than hotels in other parts of the country). Bed and pillows were comfy; location is convenient if you have a car (located between the airport and the downtown core). Overall very good experience and it is a hotel that I would recommend.

“My first stay”

Other than the 2 week old newspaper under the bed, and the robe in desperate need of fabric softener, I will stay there again.
