I stayed at this Hotel for 3 days, throughout the night you hear running above your head in the room and creaking of the doors. The hotel manager charged my credit for smoking in the room when that never happened. She claims that housekeeping said the room smelled like smoke and when renting the room the people said they smelled smoke. She don’t know if it was cigarettes or hookah. I signed my name on the contract for the non smoking policy. Why would there be any smoking in the room? This hotel looks like shelter and honestly I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. It’s has a stench smell the moment you walk in the front door of the front desk as well as the rooms. I didn’t leave the hotel due to other hotels that were close by was already booked for the weekend. I will be taking this further because there’s no concrete evidence that there was smoking in the room.

The manager Lorena is very inconsiderate even if you pay your money for your stay . They don’t care about your investment into the property.

The rooms are super thin.. Can hear the whole phone conversation next door and even hear the other person on the phone.......I woke up every single time because of the thin walls. I never complain about noise but this was just horrible. The door to my room was also left open, felt a bit uneasy...front desk said house keeping just probably forgot to close my door but not sure how others would feel.. entering a room that anyone could have now been to....... The sink faucet gets stuck so easily.. when I try to turn water on, it splashed all over my clothes....

The entire building is stretched in one single line and so far to walk to front lobby or vice versa. The area is not convenient to go to convenient shops etc.

Best Western Fort Lee ranks #1 in guest preparedness. The room and bath areas are immaculate. Every light fixture is well lit; not a stain or spot on the carpeting; and not a smudge or dust on the furniture. The room’s layout is comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend it as a great place to stay.
