All guestrooms include the Heavenly Bed, which consists of a custom-designed, pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding, triple-sheeting, down blanket, comforter and duvet, and five goosedown/feather pillows. The Heavenly Bath includes dual showerhead with multiple spray options, curved shower rod for extra room, velour bathrobes, oversized, Brazilian combed-cotton, bath sheets, and spa bath products. Other amenities include bathrobes, minibars, coffeemakers with coffee, and high-speed Internet access. Refrigerators are available upon request (surcharge). All guestrooms are non-smoking.

Dining
Hollywood Prime - Fine-dining restaurant serving fine-aged beef and 400 wine listings. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner only.
The Cafe - Located in the resort's lobby. Offers à la carte or buffet options for breakfast and a selection of salads and sandwiches for lunch.
Rivals Waterfront Sports Grille - Open afternoon until late night. Casual setting with indoor and dockside seating. Features drinks and a lighter fare menu.
BarSu - Cocktails and fresh sushi are served afternoons in this casual lounge.
Splash Poolside Grille and Bar - Beach fare including burgers, hot dogs, and chicken strips are offered poolside. Healthy menu is also available. Open mid-morning until early evening.
Common Grounds - Open early morning until evening. Offers fresh-brewed Starbucks coffees, tea, juice, and bottled beverages. Also serving pastries, fruit cups, take-away salads, and sandwiches.

Recreation
A spectacular oceanfront outdoor bridged pool with infinity edge offers a see-through bottom and waterfalls flowing into a 240-foot freeform lagoon pool immediately beneath it. Pool toys and poolside cabanas are available (surcharge). The Westin Kids Club provides supervised activities (surcharge). A 24-hour fitness center is located in the Convention Center and includes bikes, treadmills, stair steppers, elliptical trainers, and free weights. The Westin hotel is connected via skywalk to the Diplomat Landing. This waterfront marina sits on the Intracoastal Waterway and offers shops, and restaurants.
The hotel provides shuttle service every half-hour to its companion resort, the Diplomat Country Club Resort & Spa (one mile), which has an 18-hole championship golf course, putting green, driving range, and offers golf instruction (surcharge). The golf course location is two miles from the main hotel at 501 Diplomat Parkway, Hallandale FL, 33009.
The Tennis Center has 10 clay tennis courts and a Pro Shop with private lessons for children and adults (surcharge).
The 30,000-square foot European-style spa offers body treatments, massage therapy, beauty services, lounge, and private outdoor splash pool (surcharge). A fitness center includes exercise equipment, steam room, and sauna. The hotel does not have its own sand beach; shuttle service is available to the Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk (0.5 mile).

“Great vacation!”
Beautiful Hotel. Great location. Good service. Pools are in clean. Our room had unbelievable views from our balcony- city on one side and ocean from another. We enjoyed every minute.

We went to the Westin Diplomat as a weekend getaway, wanting something comfortable and perfect for a relaxing weekend... This was the place. While the hotel wasn't as close to local attractions and dining as I would have wanted, the grimly service and taxis was readily available. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view and the hotel staff was very friendly. Room service was prompt and housekeeping was not pounding on the door at 7:00am. Oh, and did I mention the view...!? There was nothing that left us unsatisfied. My only regret is not taking advantage of hotel services such as the spa, but the pricing on that is a bit outrageous. The good thing is that the hotel is just up the block from a couple of spa and salons so we didn't have to be deprived of that luxury on the trip. All in all, I can't wait to go back to the sunshine of Hollywood Florida and the comfort of the Westin Diplomat Hotel...beats my apartment in Ohio any day :)
“Minor bumps, but overall an amazing hotel to stay!”
For a hotel that huge, the quality of service and overall cleanliness is top-notch. We were placed comfortably on the 35th floor facing the ocean, and the view was breathtaking. I don't want to nitpick on the details, but there were 2 unfortunate events that we were unhappy with. 1st, we found an eaten peach sitting on the floor when we checked in and that was unpleasant to see, especially with a crawling baby reaching for everything in sight. 2nd, one of the reasons why we paid more money to book the Executive Club Floor was the perk of being able to use the club lounge. We go to the lounge only to find that our keys did not open the door. We were asked to get our keys changed at the front desk. I go down and explain to the situation, and the woman at the front desk looks at my info, and tells me that I need to be a platinum member to use the lounge and that my gold status isn't enough. I tell her that in the hotel's description it says you get access to the lounge when booking an Executive Floor Room. She disagrees with me and refuses to honor the lounge usage. Upon challenging her again, she checks something in the system, and finally tells me that I can use the lounge and that the mistake was because the system is 'confusing'. But on a brighter note, I misplaced my cellphone in the lobby and I found it hours later at the lost and found. I was flabbergasted by this as I had lost all hope of finding the phone ever again. All in all, the stay was fantastic.
