Super clean with a location more perfect than can be described with words. Loved the free beach chairs and towels to take with us the few steps we needed to walk to the ocean. It's a little older property without ventilation in the bathroom, but it's really well maintained. Great value for the location and amenities!

I actually LOVED this place! I know there are some bad reviews but you gotta know what you're walking into. It's motel style. The building is old and maintained as well as one can expect. The opportunities for socializing between rooms with other travelers in the commons areas was cool. We drank some wine provided by a French gentleman. We checked in around 2pm just after the room was cleaned. There was a strong cleaning product scent, just because the rooms don't have ventilation beyond the air-conditioner. It wsn't so bad to just leave the door open and run the fan. It would be an improvement to upgrade the back bathroom windows to allow for cross breeze airflow. But all in all, that location was AWESOME! Right next to Margaritaville. So convenient to pop out of the room and just BE THERE. Easy walk to Joes market or the Liquor store on the intercoastal A1A, or just enjoy $3.50 Budweiser's on the beach via the Sushi place on the corner of the Sheldon Hotell. Hollywood Beach has so much variety, I tend to stay a different place everytime. But I can say, Saint Maurice was great! I would stay here again for a simple easy budget beach trip. Again, PERFECT location for walking the night life scene.

Wife and I had a great 3 night stay at the property. The bathrooms are on the smaller side, but you’re there for the location. Steps to the beach! The staff is honestly wonderful, and had great interactions with them throughout my stay. The only suggestion I would have is to use a WiFi booster for building two as the connection was spotty and we were unable to run devices or use the smart capabilities of the tv. Definitely had a great stay and would recommend!

This was just fine for our family. Definitely needs some upgrades for comfortable seating in living room. Appliances need some TLC but it was very clean so I was happy! We were never asked if we wanted housekeeping and we were there for a week, they are stingy with amount of towels when asked( even though we didn’t complain about it never getting cleaned) overall it was fine. Probably wouldn’t stay again…but it served us fine

Dear Raymond, we're sorry you felt that way during your stay. If you would have come to the front desk we would have change your towels as needed. We only ask Guests to bring the dirty ones to the front desk and change them to be able to wash them properly and avoid smells in the room. Housekeeping cleans upon request, for stays longer than 5 days when you request it we do it, because we need to schedule it. Dear Arthur,Prior to booking, it is listed on our Expedia page that the check-in window is between 3pm and 9pm, it is also listed in the confirmation email you should have received. We advise our guests to call us in case they will be arriving after that time to set up a late check-in with a lockbox. Not only did you fail to call us about your late arrival, but we attempted to call you multiple times and left voice messages to try and reach you. Since you did not arrive before we closed, you were marked as a no-show. Kind regards.

Perfect location just off the beach. A bit dated, (Beach Blanket Bingo era), but I hope they hang on for a while longer before cashing in to Margaritaville. Just right for an overnight on our way home from Guatemala. Would stay again if you're still there.

Great location in heart of Hollywood Beach. Basic accommodations for a quick trip or long weekend. Stayed in a studio room, would want bigger if staying longer than 3 days. Not much circulation in room with no vent or window in bathroom and windows do not open. AC temperature could not be changed so it did get quite stuffy but we were only in the room to sleep and were out of the room mist of the time. Adequate for our long weekend.

Great little place! Best deal on the boardwalk! Right at the beach - a clean room, a comfy bed, air conditioner, decent bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffee. We spent all of our time at the beach and on the boardwalk so all we needed, we had! They loaned us bikes - and the staff are all incredibly nice and accommodating! We felt safe there too. The only, ONLY issue we had was we could hear people in the courtyard sometimes late - so we bought some ear plugs and problem solved. We loved our stay! Highly recommend!

The pictures online are inaccurate. The chair in my room had dark grey stains on it. They charge extra administration fees for no reason. And to top it all off they are non refundable and don’t tell you that you have a 20 minute walk to the nearest parking.

Dear Ryan,We sincerely apologize about the condition of the chair in your room, and it will be removed immediately. Otherwise, all of our pictures posted on Expedia are completely accurate. Just know that there is a difference between the main section of photos, and the photos of the room when making a selection. You selected the Standard Room, 1 Queen Bed, Private Bathroom, Beachside, and that's exactly what you were given. We do not charge extra administration fees, if you actually checked prior to booking, you would have seen that there is a 15 per night service charge collected at the hotel that is listed on our Expedia page. Also, we do offer rates that are fully refundable, however you are the one that chose to book a non-refundable rate. Lastly, it takes myself approximately 6 minutes to walk from the top of the city parking garage to our front office. The garage would be the furthest any of our guests would have to go to park and walk back to the hotel. Even if you are a slow walker, it wouldn't take anyone 20 minutes to walk from where they parked. We are a 2-star budget inn, and we do our absolute best to provide as much as we can for our guests to enjoy and affordable beach stay. We truly hope you find your happy place because it's clearly not with us.

It is exactly where I wanted it… perfect to get in and out to be on the go and everything is right there only one small thing I was alittle disappointed in.. there was no veiw of water at all.. and alittle loud with the neighboring hotel truck drop offs is right there.. otherwise reasonable rates and perfect for a walk to anywhere!

Classic retro beachside property. Due to the age of the building despite being right next to an entertainment district the room was very quiet! Great courtyard off our room was a perfect place to enjoy coffee, soak in some sun, and even a covered shelter if you had to spend an afternoon playing cards in the event of rain.

Location ideal. Can walk or uber everywhere. Hotel itself is a bit old and tired, but kept clean. If you need a holiday inn, this isn’t for you. If you are ok with old and tired and not planning on being inside much, it is way more affordable than staying in a fancy hotel. Small kitchenette area great for picking up the basics. Can save a ton of money having your own food and drinks and walking back and forth to beach. Amazing location! Would stay again!

The parking options are very bad, $ 45 overnight, the hotel doesn't have its own parking. The hotel is very old, room is smelling very strongly with some chemicals, the window AC is small and local just for the room. Couldn't regulate the temperature. The receptionist wasn't very friendly, I had to ask for information several times. ask her to give me another room, she refused, saying that this room is OK, just run the AC Pretty bad staying experience. Never will stay here again. Will tell all my friends to avoid this place.

Dear Nailya,Prior to booking, we specify that parking is off-site and costs a minimum 22 per night. This should not have been a surprise to you or anyone that books online, we do not hide this information. 45 was the rate for the parking lot directly behind the hotel, there is a cheaper option however, if you purchase a city parking permit at the check-in desk. We were unable to move your rooms due to the fact that the hotel was completely booked. The "chemical" odor was from the Fabuloso cleaning product which we use to clean our tile floors. It goes away after a time, but we must ensure that all rooms are completly cleaned and sanitized before a guest can be checked-into a room. For the next time, if you don't want your roomed cleaned, you can call ahead of time to request it. The A/C units we provide are plently strong enough for the size of the rooms that we have. And our receptionist explained that you were very dissmisive, from the very moment you walked through the door. We are a 2-star budget inn that does our very best to provide clean, comforatble rooms and to provide an excellent beach location and experience for our vactioners. If your friends are as dissmisive and rude as you were, then we do highly encourage you to not recommend to stay here. We truly hope that you find your happly place, wherever it may be. Kind regards.

Incredible location, half a block from the ocean. Very nice and helpful staff. They recommended an excellent restaurant 2 blocks away, on the intercoastal watrerway. The room was a great value; however, the only lighting was a ceiling light and the bathroom light. They really need bedside lamps. The mattress was very soft and therefore uncomfortable to us. The building is one story and charming deco style. The rooms center about two courtyards, each with a swing and a picnic table. It was immaculate. Don't park in one of the expensive lots. You can park on the street for $20 per day. There were 2 spots a block away. The Margaritaville hotel is right across the street and also has parking. I didn't check the price..

Great location. Very close to beach and the hollywood boardwalk. Older but very comfortable, clean, low rise suites with nice outdoor seating area. Bed was very comfortable. We were provided with beach chairs and towels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We woud definitely stay her again!
