“The best hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. PERIOD!”
The hotel is amazing, but what is truly amazing is their spa. I had the best massage I've ever had in my lifetime by a wonderfully talented masusse Javier. As far as the hotel goes, the room service menu is great but I wish it was 24 hours. The hotel concierge is one of the best I've ever had the experience of using. She knew everything and got everything done. I've stayed in Ft. Lauderdale many times at other hotels, but NOTHING compares to the Atlantic Hotel & Spa. Also, their fitness center is fully equipped (more like a full gym than the usual 2 treadmills in a normal "fitness center") They were even kind enough to upgrade me to a one bedroom suite as the room I was first given was accessible and therefore ALL bathroom. Even though that was technically an "Ocean Front" room, my suite on the side had a view of the sea all the way down to Port Everglades and a wonderful view on the city on the other side.
“Expensive but a great location.”
You pay for what you get. The Atlantic is a high quality hotel on a prime seafront location and this is reflected in its room price. That said, if you can get the room as part of a package, as we did, then the cost is a bit more reasonable. We did not dine at the hotel but did have breakfast there and this was first class. One word of warning, do not use the in room phone to make external and, in particular, international calls. We had a problem using our mobiles and used the in room phone. Big mistake as two 15 minute calls to the UK cost us almost $200!!. I found out later there is a free to use guest phone in the hotel's lobby. You live and learn.
“THE perfect hotel in Fort Lauderdale”
My husband and I just got back from a week there and we absolutely loved everything about the Atlantic (we're in our 30's). It's one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The location is perfect, and really the best part of the hotel (although everything is lovely). It's so close to the beach, just across the street. It's on a quieter part of the Fort Lauderdale 'strip', but only a 10 minute walk from all the nightlife and more busy part of the beach. The staff were fantastic - very friendly and super-accommodating - without being overbearing. The consierge - Janette and Cheryl were particularly helpful and efficient. They organized our car rental and dinner reservations etc. The pool area is quite beautiful, with an amazing view of the ocean. A few reviews commented on this area being small, but we found it just perfect. It was never overcrowded or too busy. The spa and gym are open to all guests. Treatments at the spa are fairly priced. It was blissfully quiet when I had a massage and I had the jacuzzi all to myself. We stayed in a studio king-bed room. It was extremely spacious and absolutely spotless (like the rest of the hotel). Housekeeping were great and the room was very well cleaned every day, to fit our schedule. They pay such great attention to detail there, and it really shows. It's so clean and well maintained. We'll definitely be returning to the Atlantic Hotel...and are so happy to have got such a great deal through Expedia!

Loved it!! This is a wonderful place to visit, you will be pleased! It is right across from beach. There are many restaurants in the area.
“Atlantic Hotel”
Being on vacation from Iraq, this hotel was the most relaxing and hospitable hotel that I couldve chosen. The staff was friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The facilities were outstanding and provided everything you could need and more. I have traveled many places and have been overpriced in many places. The Atlantic Hotel is by far the nicest and the most cost worthy place that I have ever stayed. Definately will be visiting again!!!
“Will definitely stay here any time in Ft. Lauderdale”
The hotel was absolutely lovely and I booked an ocean front room which was definitely worth the extra expense. Large balcony accommodated a romantic room service dinner with the sound of the ocean augmenting the music we played on the cd player provided in the room. Just a lovely hotel and a great place to begin a cruise vacation which was the case for us.
“Nice call by Expedia”
Really nice and quiet, nice views, great sized bathroom but the wait to get my room and the unpredictable maid (sometimes in the morning and sometimes late in the afternoon) service were a pain.
“Looking forward to visiting The Atlantic again”
We had a wonderful experience at The Atlantic. The room was much larger and elegant than we had expected and the view was amazing looking from our balcony down on the pool and out to the ocean. We had dinner at Trina's the first night. Convenient restaurant with good food but could have done without the munchkins at the next table whose parents obviously thought they were at McDonald's since they let the kids wander the room. Management should have addressed that on some pretense. Breakfast at Trina's was perfect on the patio. The bar was hit and miss on service but usually friendly and fast and drinks were de-lish. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel and we'll be back.

Had a wonderful time at the Atlantic Hotel. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Always a smile and a happy greeting.The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It is just far enough away from all the shops, so you can enjoy a nice quiet dinner at the hotel and close enough to walk to the shops and other restaurants. I am very fussy about where I stay and it took me some time before I found one I wanted to stay in. I am so happy I chose The Atlantic and plan on returning again and again.
