“This is the second visit and we will come again”
Great Hotel directly on the beach, super service and short distance to Airport and Down Town
“ok”
teh coffemaker was old and whenn we looked under the bed.. hasn´t been cleaned for a long time... seaview- beautiful
“excellent location”
very well located. pool and river tubing very nice.good restaurant
“Ft. lauderdale Beach Hotel”
I was upgraded to a huge 2 bedroom suite on the beachside. However, the hotel I would say caters to elder's more than mid 30-40's crowd. The decor of the rooms was very outdated - carpet was gross and needed replacement. The couch in my suite was so overused it was sagging in the middle (you sank into it when you tried to sit in it). For the price, it should have been more updated.
“Very nice hotel with it's own full service private beach.”
Great to be able to sit quietly on your own private beach and have food/beverages brought to you. Food at the restaurant/bar was good. Hotel is a little out of the way if you are looking for active night life but a short cab ride away from other activities. We preferred the peace and quiet this hotel had to offer. Front desk staff was very helpful. Housekeeping needs a little work but the room was for the most part very clean. Ask for a little extra soap and they were accommodating. This was our second trip back and would return again.
“Excellent ocean view...”
This hotel surpassed my expectations...the ocean view was incredible, the hotel had a really nice ambiance, modern decor with a perfect blend of the carribean and old key west. Excellent hotel...highly recommend.
“Great Location”
This hotel is literally on the beach. You can't get any closer. Our room was on 10th floor with incredible ocean view. Room was very clean with great furnishings and layout. Only complaint was there is no wireless internet service in rooms. While there is an ethernet connection available, it does my Ipad no good. Other than that, staff was very friendly. One should also note that if you park your car at hotel, there is a $24/night parking fee. I would still recommend highly overall!
“Quiet hotel on the beach”
Lovely hotel directly on the beach. Very clean hotel, nice rooms. We had a king suite ocean front, directly in front of the elevator and ice machine...not a good combination for people seeking quiet. The view was fantastic with a spacious balcony. Hotel was a little far from the main strip, with valet parking the only option available within the hotel property. Staff was helpful and very friendly. I would stay there again, but on a higher floor, away from the elevator and ice machine (sounds like a cement mixer).
“Don't go if there is a wedding”
This was a decent hotel however... The only option for parking is valet, which is OK in itself but it cost $24/day. I looked at the hotel website to find the cost and I couldn't find it. I could have called but it would have been nice to see it on their website. The hotel is right on the beach and has provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels at no charge. There is a very nice veranda overlooking the ocean and we sat out there every evening. We had a decent time at the hotel until the last night. There was a wedding the last night we were there and they closed the veranda and beach for the wedding. Luckily for us the weather was not great, but considering we were paying guests also, only allowing certain guests to access amenities angered me. There was a wedding party on the 11th floor of the hotel and from our room on the 8th floor, their music sounded like it was next door! We called the front desk at 11pm after listening to it for two hours and they didn't seem to care. The response was something along the lines of "It's a wedding, oh well." Sadly, I can't recommend this hotel.
“"Staff extremely nice"”
My husband and I stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel sent up a complimentary bottle of wine. The hotel overlooks a beautiful stretch of beach. The Sunday brunch was incredible with bottomless mimosas. But most importantly, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would stay again if in the area.
